Re: Teachers BS update - I have now received the second email telling me the account has been opened and a letter is in the post… though there is still no account showing when I login, and I can't add it manually as neither the email, or any of its attachments, show any account number details.

I’ve been waiting a week for the letter to arrive so phoned them this morning. After a bit of security the very pleasant and helpful agent gave me the details I needed.

it looks as though it gets updated twice per day (10am & 4pm), so will try again tonight or tomorrow… it's not urgent.

My account automatically appeared online, on the same day I received the "account open" email. No need to add manually.

Nothing in the post yet - I rarely get a delivery more than once a week. But won't need it until it's time to do July's deposit.

if you can see the account online, you can also see the actual account number. So no need for a letter, which seems to be glacially slow, anyway. My account has been open for 8 working days, no letter in sight.

COP is working a business day or two after your account has appeared online.

The following accounts have been added to p1 of this thread in the second half of May and remain available.

Nottingham BS Online Regular Saver Issue 5 at 4.25%	Launched 21/5/26
Nottingham BS Branch Regular Saver Issue 8 at 4.25%	Launched 21/5/26
Dudley BS The Bridgnorth Lions Club Regular Saver - 1322 at 5%	Launched 19/5/26

The two Suffolk BS RSs have been added at 5%, see p1 for further details.

I received email with my account number on 4th June funded on 5th June (I prefer CoP working just in case🙂, but didn't get any letters. I don't really need a letter, everything is up and running without letters.

I'm sure with the previous RS's you couldn't close the account before maturity?

You can (close before maturity) with this latest one and I think the most recent previous one (possibly the most recent two previous ones). Earlier editions did prohibilt closure before maturity. Partial withdrawals are not allowed.
