Yes, sent passbook plus nominated account form plus faster payment withdrawal form ticked for closure. Posted day 1 (second class), closure proceeds in my nominated account day 2 (1111 Regular Saver Issue 9, closed in March 2026). I sent a covering letter, not sure if necessary.

Mine is. There was no issue with either of my Teachers RS being found when setting up my SO's for the next 11 months with the Reference being the Teachers BS RS account number. (Lloyds).
