I sent my passbook back to them for slightly early closure, and it took 10 days from when they received it to get the funds into my account. Reason they gave was that they were busy 🙄

I'm presuming that a first withdrawal in the maturity year would be treated as an early account closure.

Teachers BS RS for Everyone (Issue 1) Registration Confirmation Email

The registration confirmation email I received for the Teachers Building Society Regular Saver for Everyone (Issue 1).

I applied last night and got an email within a few minutes acknowledging me, then this morning an email welcoming me and giving me a user ID and an activation key. These worked seamlessly and I can see that my application is "pending".

I had my TRN ready (Teachers Reference Number) but they haven't asked for this yet - I, too am wondering if they might look at NI number history…? It was lovely not to have to upload proof of ID too (which they might still do I suppose!)

It looks like both, 6% and 6.5%, are already NLA. Not showing on their website and not on 'products" list when logged in.
