Last July wasn't very eventful, but I have Suffolk, Progressive and Monmouthshire maturing in July, so It wasn't completely dry.

First Direct:
RS matured W 13/05 with interest added. still showing as a RS and only earning 1.05%. i know it says it can take up to 5 working days to transfer to a normal saver and then be able to withdraw but why? with the addition of the weekend its going to be 1 week minimum just sat there. a bit annoying.

It's strange that the time it takes varies; my FD RS matured on Friday 15/05 and it was closed and the money available to withdraw from my ordinary FD savings account on Saturday 16/05.2 -
really? i'm contacting them now.

via live-chat they have transfered the RS money to my current account, RS still has to mature probably with a few more pence to come. still a frustrating process (to me). thanks wmb194.

The most I've ever known it take in practice was 2 days after maturity. But I'm curious about the mention of live chat. I wasn't aware this was a thing with FD.
