They all went through with me this morning around 10am, the only annoying thing was that everything had to be approved, it was easier to do in the app though

Wow, so many issues with TSB & Nationwide not paying SOs & FPs 🙄. Lloyds were also very slow in paying SOs this today, but they did go through after 6am? Maybe it's just as well that I haven't got the majority of my SOs going out until the 8th of the month, instead of the usual 1st of the month. There always seems to be a banking problem somewhere at weekends or Bank holiday periods - It really does sometimes make you wonder…….
Both the Leeds RS Issue 77 @ 4.4% & Chorley BS RS @ 5% variable are below my own personal threshold, even for a maybe account. Plus, HSBC, TSB, and Santander all have fixed rate RSs @ 5%, for those who may already not have them and have a current account with them. Personally, these are the RSs I'm keeping my eye on as maybe accounts after sorting out my ISA for this year and not before opening 2 Santander Edge Savers and depositing £3770 in each whilst letting the interest accumulate for 12 months to achieve the 6% 😉. I know most will already have a Santander Edge Saver or three, but well worth a look into, if you haven't.

I did all of my transfers (about half of them out of Nationwide) without issue, so any gremlins getting in the way today did not wake up until after dawn.

I opened issue 36 4.85% with £1 in December just in case. Predictions were that the rates will be going down. I don't believe this account will ever be useful, but see no point closing it either. I definitely don't need issue 37, I already have too many useless accounts😀

Had a call from coop bank today, they blocked a payment to a new RS account made by s/o that I set up, bemoaning that I had opened a current account and am using it in an "irregular" way, depositing at the end of the month with the standing orders coming out on 1st. That is despite all s/o's are to accounts in my name (they already noted that). I have set up 8 and they aren't happy. Without confirming the details of the new standing order (sort code, a/c number etc) they won't allow it. I couldn't do so as I was working outdoors.
I don't intend to make it as my main account as they don't support open banking, pay zero interest, don't have a branch etc, but I wanted their RS so opened it.
Just thought I'd mention this as it seems, for them, using it in this way is making me person non grata, with just 8 RS accounts fed from it. Still open for now.

I haven't used my Co-Op current account for months. Shouldn't that be using it in an irregular way?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
Co-op Bank have always had strange ways. Not surprised by this. Wouldn't use their current account. I have one, but only opened so I can have the Co-op RS (which is fed monthly from my Santander c/account along with multiple other RS SO's)

My Co-op CA sits with £5 apart from the 1st when I pay my RS funding in'n'out (manually). Been that way for years, not hassled me (yet).

For balance, I'll say that I've used Co-op for paying into a spall number of my RSs for a while now and never had any issues, I deposit however much on 1st (and/or 1st working day if applicable) and manually pay into some regular savers from it and thus far none of my payments have been blocked. I also emptied their RS as it matured and didn't have any issues.
One plus with Co-op though is that they are handy when paying into multiple RSs with the same sort code and account number, but with different reference numbers (e.g. Newcastle, Principality etc) as you can setup as many payees as you wish for the same sort code/account number but have different references and nicknames for each.
