Principality BS 6 Month Regular Saver Issue 6 5.0% AER
Wow, that's quite a drop from the rate offered on previous issues. Think I'll pass on this one.1 -
Principality 6 month regular issue 5 still available online if you're quick.

Just opened one. Had thought it would have been available for longer but thanks for the head up.

That's strange, given that 1) Issue 5 hasn't been around for long, and 2) they've introduced a new issue of the 5 access ISA with a higher rate

I wonder if they are doing this to 'reset' the multiple accounts issue, give it 6 months and then everyone will be back to a maximum of one account (assuming people do not renew for 5%) and then they can start again. It was a good run though 😎

I suppose the Prinky 5% main benefit is that it will mature before the tax rate for basic rate taxpayers goes up to 22%
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?3 -
They could make it a 12 month account and it would still mature before the tax rate hike if you are quick. I passed on renewing the HSBC 12 month RS at 5%, so needless to say this wouldn't be of interest.
