When I tried to close my Penrith Regular Saver 200 they said at first that I could, and then said I couldn't. They made me make five withdrawals before they'd close it.
They were very nice to deal with but it was all very silly.

In fairness, assuming Enzo_L's account was the online RS200, and Bridlington1's as mentioned is the RS300 Heartland, both actions are what the t+c's would dictate, though requiring a customer make 5 withdrawals to achieve the net result of one, does seems overkill.

Darlington RS
There is an ongoing and possibly long-term issue withdrawing to certain (or maybe all) Santander accounts.
The workaround is to send a secure message to action the withdrawal.

I just received an email from RBS about my completed switch with regards to their boosted 7.01% AER regular saver…
We're glad you've joined us and opened your Digital Regular Saver account. We’ve now applied your bonus rate to your account. This bonus rate will stay active until 30th June 2027.
Just so you know, your bonus interest will appear separately from your regular interest, so you’ll notice two interest payments credited to your Digital Regular Saver account each time.
so the documentation says the boost is for 12 months, but this email says that it will now effectively be boosted for 16 months.

Coop reg saverNo, mine was relatively straight-forward. Have you cleared cache, etc? Or perhaps try opening via a private browser window. Good luck.

I recall some discussion on this from a few months ago and it seemed to be that current accounts from some providers would work without a workaround while others would not, so Santander must be one of the latter.
Planning a withdrawal in April so does anyone remember the accounts on the unaffected list?
