Thanks for this - I'll talk to Lloyds too as we do have an account with them. FX is the same as HL so not losing there unlike the estimated £13 monthly fee.

ISA transfer completed today, so 10 working days. Plenty quick enough for me

I've been with HL since 2010 and even back then, I knew they were charging higher fees than I could have paid elsewhere but they were and still are a very high quality setup. I would actually be approx £15 per year better off overall with the new charging but, as mentioned in the article, their change in fees has made me look around. I can't ignore that I will be a further £375 better off, by switching to a combination of Trading 212 and II.

Same here even though I used ETFs in an ISA. Account annual cost up from £45 to £150.
So I have looked at cashback offers and have split my ISA with 3 different providers for 3 cashback offers. Two are free and one is cheaper than Hargreaves.
And cashbacks here dwarf those available for current account switching. So a reduction in annual fees and a significant cashback, what’s not to like?
If they had left well alone I probably would have stayed with them.3 -

Some good cashbacks at Fidelity, Barclays and Freetrade at the moment if your ISA is big enough.

I noticed that last week HL started offering decent cashback deal for those of us not currently with them.
I have a SIPP with AJ Bell where I only hold index linked gilts and HL seem to be offering £1500 if I transfer and their new capped fees will only be £30 pa higher than I am currently paying. Seems like a good deal.
Sadly I can't transfer my main SIPP with Fidelity anywhere without loss of protected access age.

Mine is now complete too, so seems to be fairly consistent.

ISA completed yesterday and Shares to Invest account completed today. Just looking to tidy up my SIPP holdings (while still free to trade), take my annual UFPLS and then transfer in specie to II. Shame. I did like everything about HL but the price
