Based on the original question - I'm in a similar boat - I have an HL Fund & Share account with US Based shares for two companies (from an old employee scheme)……..Dividends are paid to me quarterly into my bank account…..
The HL email quoted £8 per month.
My reading through this thread seems to indicate that Scottish Widows is the "best" for this type of holding,.

I'd generally avoid SWSD for foreign currency stuff as you can get lower forex fees from the free trading apps.

Scottish Widows and Fidelity reinvest dividends usually the same day, though there have been suggestions here to switch that off for SW and set the regular savings scheme to do it for free

Yes, that would probably be the best option in terms of forex fee (and no other costs).

Apologies, correction now that I've looked closer
SW seems to be usually next day

Got an email from the Interactive Investor marketing folk today.
Quote (their emphasis): "And with our simple flat fee, that means keeping more of your money – perfect if fees from other providers feel like a Heavy Load…"
Nice one. I see the art of British satire is alive and well!
