VPN is probably the best solution to be honest.

For me Tailscale works very well as an alternative to a "traditional" VPN, see earlier thread referenced above. But that needs a bit of setting up at home (and a machine left running) so it is not for everyone.

Alternatively, ditch Netflix and enjoy your trip! 😀

Another vote for a VPN, be careful if trying to source a free one though as not always trustworthy.

I use Surfshark, you can usually get deals plenty of creators on YouTube have them as sponsors etc.

Approx couple of quid per month if you sign up for 2 years. Gives unlimited connections so just need one account for your entire household. Pick a country and click connect and hey presto you are in that country. Can also give better rates when booking flights and hotels sometimes if you play with which country you are booking from.

Gives good protection for when you are using free WiFi in hotels etc but they can't protect you against everything on the net so still need to have your wits about you

I read a lot but mainly on my Kindle as i find a lot of books have very small printing and my eyes have seen better days ,the idea of watching something on my tablet is i can wear my headphones which blocks out other noise and the film breaks up the boredom of sitting in an airplane for several hours.
