Thank you for the kind comments all.
£2.55 TCB dropped in the bank just in time for the end of the month. That’s been sent to the CC.
Work issue has been horrible today but I’ve survived it. Absolutely shattered now as I didn’t sleep well last night. Roll on bedtime and money shuffle tomorrow…2 -
Nice that you've been able to send some more to the CC, but I'm sorry the work issue was horrible. Soon be time for bed and I hope you sleep better tonight.

Sorry to hear the work stuff is still causing a bit of issues. It does sound like you had a good weekend though, good luck with the sleep :)

Well Mr D got a windscreen chip today; something that could so easily become a frog. So I’ve been on to the insurance, booked the repair for Wednesday morning and paid the very reasonable £25 excess. It didn’t linger long enough to become a problem and I’m feeling suitably proud of myself 😇.
Little Miss had her open evening for secondary school tonight and came home with her information pack. A little frustrating that they’ve changed the uniform slightly since the last list and the skirts we’ve just bought are no longer allowed. (Nothing inappropriate just a-line jersey fabric but I think they’ve struggled to regulate it this year based on the number of boob tubes for skirts we’ve seen on the school run so they’re enforcing pleated ones from now on). That’s a job for the weekend as I’ll need to take them back to Sainsbos - they fit so I’ve thrown the returns label away 😠. I was feeling so ahead of the game too!
I’m really looking forward to having some money in my pots again. Gifts always set me back at this time of the year so I’m hoping the ‘great candle giveaway’ will save that sinking fund from itself in the next few weeks.5 -
The candles were a fantastic find!
