That's a big percentage by the coin star machine. I wouldn't use them again.

I completely agree and we won’t be!

There was probably a minimum amount in their small print ☹️
It’s actually quite hard to get rid of loose change these days… we quite often save it up for arcades at bowling alleys etc then you can swap £10 of coins for tickets to get £2 worth of haribo. Bargain 🤪

When we have lots of change we use it to pay or as part-payment at the self-service tills 😉 no commission taken off.

That was a long day but Monday is now done for another week 😊.
I’ve had another small sale today (the third of three items I listed on Saturday). Will need to get Mr D to drop it off for me tomorrow, if he hasn’t disowned me from today that is - he visited 4 in post locker sites before there was a compartment available! Once cleared, that’ll be £45 in sales for the month. Not bad going.
The house feels very quiet now littlest has finally given in to sleep. I really hope Little Miss is having a lovely time and her first night away goes okay.6 -
It’s been an easier day today and I’ve finally managed to clear some of my to-do list at work. Got finished earlier than usual and so have been able to enjoy some of the evening.
I’ve made a small sale on marketplace so that’s £3 to add to the monthly spends. Still waiting on the other sales clearing though.
Tonight, I think I’ll have a bubble bath and enjoy a few pages of my book before getting an early night.
And that is exciting as a Tuesday is going to get round here until I’m finally on that summer break 😂.2 -
Sounds like a pretty decent Tuesday to me 🙂
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪1 -
Sounds like Tuesday was a win

Wednesday was loooong, and so was Thursday. Really hoping for an earlier finish tomorrow. Too many 12-hour days this week in the heat has me sitting like a puddle tonight. Just melting.
It’s a crawling finish to the summer break for sure.3 -
Totally with you on crawling to the end of Sunmer term finish line! Hope your DD has had a good time. My youngest DS has had his residential this week. I’ve missed him so much!
