5 bedroom detached built in late 80s, so not state of art insulation !
Just worked out heating for the past 5 weeks - knocking off costs of hot water and gas hob it worked out at ~ £4.20 average per day for gas C/H - Heating is on from ~ 5:30am til  8:30pm most days currently.

I've used roughly 600l of oil (based on the Watchman not being accurate) between delivery (17th Nov.) and yesterday (when I noticed the gauge had dropped from 5 to 4. Last order was priced at 55.86ppl. So heating and hot water is costing just under £6/day (although some hot water is provided by a solar diverter) for 10.7 litres a day over 56 days.

Haven't got a clue.  Based on last year ~£4 pd for a large poorly insulated 3 bed semi.

Reason for no clue is I'm on estimated bills as the Smart Gas Meter is completely broken, and my supplier are showing no inclination to actually arrange a replacement despite being informed the day after it stopped working and eventually agreeing after 3 weeks that it needs replacing.    The estimates I've had so far have been on the low end of what I'd expect.
Not really broken but probably the battery has gone flat .They can have a short lifespan .Normally when the battery shuts down it closes the valve and no gas can come through but it can also shut down with gas valve open .
  • Yesterday’s reading hasn’t come through yet.

Decreased flow temperature a few degrees, and about 40 minutes less on the timer.

Manual roughly the same use (estimated)

The end of the cold snap is reflected in
    Mondays gas use £2.41
