180m2 bungalow UFH and gas boiler, haven't look at cost for yesterday, but did my annual costing and for 2025 it was £15.90 in total for Gas and electric inc the SC.
Boiler has been set at 42degC flow temp as that keeps it at a cosy 21degC in the living area and 19degC in the bedrooms even at -7degC outside.
Heating is on 24/7 as that works out cheap to run.
Water is heated with a mix of gas and electric, obviously the tank dosnt heat above 40degC on gas, but thats enough for daily use.
In the summer when the boilers turned off its just electric heating for the water.
16kwp of solar and 15kwh of battery is what keeps the bills super low running 98% on off peak at 7p kwh and house has been set up for maxium export at 15p kwh
Bill incs 14k miles in the EV inc 1k miles in France public charging.

Haven't got a clue.  Based on last year ~£4 pd for a large poorly insulated 3 bed semi.

Reason for no clue is I'm on estimated bills as the Smart Gas Meter is completely broken, and my supplier are showing no inclination to actually arrange a replacement despite being informed the day after it stopped working and eventually agreeing after 3 weeks that it needs replacing.    The estimates I've had so far have been on the low end of what I'd expect.

I’m spending about £3.50 a day without standing charge atm. I just went past the pond on the nature reserve and it was either frozen or very polluted, couldn’t see properly from the bridge. Gonna give the heating a 2 hour blast on 22.

Can you not physically take the readings and submit them, save all the potential hazards of estimates if you could.

No Meter is completely blank and not responding to any button presses etc  so there is nothing visible to read -  they've got video evidence of this, nothing comes to the IHD or the Online Account which is how I noticed IHD was showing no cost for the day - it always shows standing charge.     I'll keep nagging the supplier.

Have a 3 bed mid 70's house , this month have averaged just over £3 per day. for gas  During the really cold spell I leave heating on 24/7 , during the night I have the temp set at 15c, and the same when we;re at work , then in the morning and evening it's set at 21c. I haven't noticed a huge increase in running costs by doing this, I worked on the theory that a plane will use more fuel taking off than when cruising , so not letting the heating go below 15c would take less to heat up than say 12c and maintaining that heat shouldn't use too much gas .

Difficult to quantify financially, but 2 buckets full of best Columbian coal, to keep the Doom Goblin and Millipede happy, kept everything nice and toasty yesterday.
A bit milder today so it will be about £4 of gas, including standing charge.
3 bed, 1967 semi-detached in a rural location. Well insulated double glazed house.
Only heating habited spaces - 3 radiators, living room x 2 and hallway.

Avg £3.75 a day for gas. Would like to think it will decrease as the weather is milder, but OH and I are recovering from an awful virus. Fatigue and chills means I am boosting 18 degrees to 21 for a couple of hours a day.
