Looks like we are going for the January record high so far, currently +1.8, only 0.2 degrees to go to equal this months high (which was in the middle of the day with the sun almost shining) !

1 bed ground floor flat, large rooms, 2 big bay windows, gas heating, Monday was £3.01 that's 3 hours in morning (timer) , 3 & 1/2 evening (timer, I usually do 4 hours but was due home later than normal), plus a few hours during the afternoon (manual, don't do this everyday).

Timer temperature is 22 which seems high, but is because thermostat is in warmest spot, living room is cooler and bedroom significantly cooler. Heating the hall to that temperature gets me to a comfortable lower temperature in the main rooms.

I have health issues and am usually still well bundled up when the heating is on.

Three bedroom link-detached house, that is well insulated, but I live alone. Conventional (fairly old) boiler. I can't work out if we're supposed be including standing charges or not, so I have. I don't have the data for today, obviously, and my IHD isn't correctly showing yesterday's either yet, so the data is from the 5th

    Gas 59.77
    kWh £3.32

    Outfox Energy Fix.

Keeping the house 'warm' is definitely not a thing for me currently. Central heating is broken so I'm using an oil filled rad in the room I use the most and work in. Max temp that the room reached was 12.5 degrees yesterday (and it took 10 hours to get there from the starting point of 8), but combined with a low wattage electric throw, it was bearable for me. 1930s mid terrace 2-bed with very old windows and doors, no idea if there is loft insulation as I can't access the loft - with a bunch of pets that makes closing internal doors impossible.  Cost of running the rad and the electric throw comes to just under £5 for the day, not including standing charge and it definitely didn't keep me warm, but it kept me from freezing

Hoping to get the central heating fixed in the next week!

I think I'll have a duvet day, tomorrow, having seen the Agile prices.

You're right. It won't. I've tried them all and am sort of none the wiser as the weather changes to much.
However , for me ,  i think that it's a case of how much more does it cost. So say it cost's £2 a day more in cold weather to keep home warm to leave heating on night and day , and can afford it , it's nicer to get up to and come home to.
sensiblesarah  12.5 degrees is far from nice. Hope you get that central heating done.

That is a fair point, yes,... however.... We didn't light it, and if we did, we had a big Ash dieback problem 2 years ago so wood is free to us. In addition we mainly run the ASHP overnight on 7p EV tariff so we're heading towards 2p/kWhr over night. We have loads of solar gain so 1 hour of average sun even in winter is all we need to heat the house by day..

My 2 bedroom ground floor cottage flat used 46kWh on Monday, 48kWh on Tuesday, so around £3 each day. Thermostat is set at 18c and during the night it's set at 15c, so for the past couple of weeks the heating has been switching on in the early hours to stop it getting too cold.
