    Evening all 😁

Beanie, could your Mum get a stair lift? My mum struggles and lives in a bungalow! but she keeps going. Glad your head is impoving.

Coxy, hope you are ok x

Denise good you have finished the blouse, shame we can't see it 😢

LW, just take some time for yourself too, it is very hard work when you are working, visiting and normal every day things.

Jelly hope you are ok after you dentist trip.

All orders done, just delivering tomorrow after group and meet everyone else Sunday.

    Food today,

Picky plate, half fibre, half calcium

@Coxy11 hope the flustered reaction was potentially good news 🤞

@Longwalker you’ve got a lot going on, remember to look after yourself too x

@beanielou good to hear your head is on the mend. No ideas about your mum’s situation unfortunately. My parents have the same set up but think going up and down the stairs actually helps to keep them active (even if it worries me to death).

Dentist visits weren’t pleasant at al! I have a review appt in two weeks and really hoping that my gum has settled down and a surgery referral isn’t needed. Gynae appt seemed to go fine. I’m so glad this week is over!

Food wise I’ve not been eating a lot, mainly sticking with yoghurt, eggs, soup or pasta. Hoping to get to WI tomorrow.

Gosh @Longwalker that’s rough. Hope you can carve out some time for you - sending hugs x

Possibly good news @Jellybaby - have a phone call Monday afternoon to discuss - will tell once I know. Not job related BTW! Hope your gums settle down and good luck for WI x

I have my aunt and uncle visiting tomorrow for coffee and cake. Will be nice to see them as they are good fun.

Morning all, another very wet day here.

Not impressed with WI - one on 🙄 I guess I’ll keep plodding on. Mouth is feeling slightly better so hopefully I can get back to normal eating.

I’m dropping DS at the train station shortly then might have a quick mooch round M&S. It’s only a foodhall but I need to pick up a bottle of alcohol for a friend who’s retiring.

So far I’ve had some cereal HE fibre with raspberries and protein yoghurt 2 syns. I’ll have the last of the tomato and red pepper soup from the freezer for lunch and dinner is likely to be a single portion of spaghetti bolognaise I found when routing around for the soup 😁

Have a good day everyone - hope you can stay dry!

That’s annoying @Jellybaby but you seem to be very organised for today. Let’s hope you see a loss next week 🤞🏻

I hit the wine last night. Sorry not sorry. Will take whatever WI gives me this week. Today I have had a SW maple pancake with a scraping of 0% Greek yoghurt and a sliced banana. My tummy is already complaining - not sure if it’s the pancakes as felt this on Thursday too. Not sure about lunch - aunt and uncle are coming for coffee annd cake then DSis and I are hoping to get out to Rochester later if time allows. Dinner is moules et frites so syns there!!

That’s tough Longwalker. You just have to do what you can to get by in those situations.

Your mum sounds as if she’s doing really well Beanie. Must be all the good care Youre giving her.

My brother is on the mend. He went for a check up yesterday and sent me a copy of his x ray. There are some clever docs out there. He’ll be having the next op in a couple of weeks.

I’ve taken the kick up the backside seriously. I had a message from the GP asking me to get in touch which I did via the ap. Anyway I think she’d only seen the original bp test and not looked at the 12 hour monitor results as the message came back saying that since it had only been one reading to do my own readings at home for a week and send them in. This suits me fine. I’m going to leave it until next month when we come back from a mini break to York in Millie Motorhome. In between time I’m going to do what I can to loose whatever I can then if it’s still high I’ll do whatever is recommended. I do think there’s a bit of something going on between the pharmacist and GP surgery. It’s not the first time the pharmacist has suggested something and the GP Pooh-poohed it 🥴😂

So I weighed this morning and 3 lb has left my person 😄

I too confess to being a long time hooker. I’m currently piecing 130 hexagons into a blanket for gdd and then have another in a different colour way to do for the other👍

Afternoon all from a wet and windy South East. Needed to pop out to get a few bits and forgot to pick them up when I went shopping on Thursday - can't have a bacon sandwich without bacon! I'd also run out of onions and that is completely unheard of for me!

You've got a lot going on @Longwalker - look after yourself too.

Shame about the gain @Jellybaby but sure it'll come off soon now you can get back to normal eating.

Sounds like your mum is beginning to do a few things ready for when she goes back home @beanielou but I can imagine how worrying a time it will be for you when she does go home.

Think I ended up over syns yesterday as not only did I have the half carrot cake but also a couple of biscuits. Will just have to be a bit more careful for the rest of the week.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - bacon & tomato sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1.5
    D - LO lamb casserole, mash - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Swips - sausages 2; LF spread 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Great result @milann but commiserations @bubbs. Sounds very soggy where you are. Had auntie and uncle round but couldn’t show them the garden as too wet.
