Thanks @Humdinger1 😊
I did think, even at the time, that as well as being hurtful, she was being incredibly rude. So from then on I wore what the heck I liked, mainly trousers (which she hates me wearing) or maxi dresses! 😉

Umm… if she hates you wearing trousers and dresses - and I presume mini skirts due to the legs there really isn't much left 😂 You wear whatever you like with aplomb !
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Well I would be allowed to wear skirts (in her eyes) if I wear tights (or stocking as she does) with them. But I have always hated the feel of them on my legs, so that won't be happening …. 😉

Nope and I have lost interest in trying with this individual now …
First day back at work after two weeks wasn’t too bad. Only 220 emails (which is tiddly compared to the 1200 I came back to after two weeks off in the crazy job …) which I had processed by mid morning and made a email date / timestamp list of tasks from 😊
Investigated two accidents that happened in the morning of the first Monday I was off! 😳 Neither serious fortunately. Caught up with everyone and listened to a lot of complaints about the hot weather last week and the provision made by the business to respond to it - mainly deemed inadequate. But then, when you dig a bit deeper the things that might have helped that were offered e.g. earlier start / finish, no one went for 🤷♀️ Started working through the list … I might also have had some distraction breaks to start working on a frog by asking goggle for suggestions on what should be in a death file. This has been outstanding for too long and I really need to get it done, so as I am always suggesting to others here, I am chunking this down to smaller steps … Step 1 done! 😊👏
Did manage to get out for a wander at lunch time and my quality engineer came with me 😊
Since coming home I have also:
- Watered greenhouse and pots 😊
- Emptied kitchen bin
- Sat and had a cuppa and catch up with Mr KK to compare notes on our respective days
- Discussed the brise soleil quote that came through today - not ridiculous but the big one for the living room, I will leave until next year. I will ask them to quote specifically for one over my bedroom window and get that ordered soon I think.
- Cleared out a dead cardboard plant delivery box to the recycling bin that will be emptied tomorrow
- Cooked dinner / prepped my food for tomorrow
- Packed my gym bag for going to the gym after work and put it by the main exit door.
- Ordered more sunflower hearts for the birds (and Mr KK if I’m honest, as he loves seeing the birds on the feeder 😊😉❤️)
- Done my shoulder rehab 😊
I need to have a shower in a bit and then I would like to do a bit more of my new knitting project, as I finally finished the wrist warmers project last night 😊🧶
And yes, they are deliberately asymmetric! 😉 In acrylic yarn so they will be easy to wash when they get muddy, as I plan to use them on cold days in the garden as a layer between my long sleeved top and my fleece, as I found that was where I was getting proper cold last winter when working out there. Be interesting to see if my theory is correct … 😊

Can you share where you got your brise soleil quotes? I'm struggling to find them (although I did wonder whether I could make one out of scrap wood!).

Wrist warmers are great, love the colours. You are motivating me to get my knitting needles out and create something colourful 😃
