Cats are wonderful. Feral kitten tried sitting on me a few times and gave it up, clearly not part of being a feral. She does however sit very prettily on my desk next to me at work sometimes which is indeed a joy.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
I can join in briefly with the cat love in as my friend is away, so I’m temp human who is graced with their love.

Mine don't sit on laps, but do sit next to me/sleep on my feet/snuggle up beside me/sit on my chest and try to crush the life out of me… and sometimes just sit opposite me and blink at me. We have builders at the moment, so they're extra-clingy (also extra annoying and racing around the house wrestling with each other).

Mine doesn't sit with me (I'm a fidget and she hates it), but she will sit on the back of sofa behind my head and completely conk out.

So much cat love …. 🐈💖 Sweet.
Well it's nearly the end of the week. I have really crashed this week. I have been so tired (in spite of it being a short week) and I have had the focus of a drifting helium balloon and the motivation of a rock … <sigh>
I have no great ambitions for this weekend, though it won't start well - have to take my car back to the garage AGAIN after work today, to try and sort out why the heating isn't working (the air con is blisteringly cold - which is 50% of the win, but I need the heater too! 😕I nearly cried … 😭). I rang the garage as soon as I got home last night, as I checked it on the drive home, and they are hoping it is an air lock … Please, please let it be that as I really don't want the whole front of the car taken apart again and having to use their horrible, cramped, heavy steering, loan car again …. (FW-whinge)
No counselling this week, which is a relief in all honesty. Mr KK is angling after a take away tonight, but if he wants one I might say he can go and get it as I just cannot be …..! (I usually do both the ordering and the going and getting of takeaways, and tbh I just don't fancy one tonight.)
I have been offered a further 4 weeks of complimentary training, which I have said yes to, even though I am feeling a bit meh about all of that too … Apparently I got my trainer into trouble with his manager because I scored my motivation as a 3/10 - how the hock would I know that?? Ugh …All in all I am in a funk I am struggling to get out of. Not sure if I need sympathy or a boot up the whatsit … Getting utterly fed up of being 'here' though.

Oh and I have £400+ of beautiful clothes in an online basket which I am dithering about / trying to ignore …
I don't need them.
Is there any point if I am going to shrink further?
It's £400+!!
etc. etc.KK

Thank you x
Feeling a bit better after:
- leaving work for the week
- Getting the car fixed swiftly and easily (it was a loose plug connector which was preventing a switch working)
- Picking up new library books
- Indulging myself with a magazine
- Getting into the GP surgery and completing a form for a new medical exemption certificate
- Some lunch!
- Coach not being too upset with me for getting him into trouble with his boss - the boss is very public facing and I thought there was an edge to him, turns out there is ….
