Old Style Weight Loss Challenge - 1st Quarter 2026

I will record my first result (hopefully small reduction) tomorrow morning. I did have my gym induction on Sunday but haven't been back yet due to work. I will go on Thursday. I can't do evening sessions because I am stingy and have only paid for off peak until I see whether I manage to keep it up.

Unfortunately still STS for this week. I was really expecting at least a 1/2 lb reduction.5

I weighed in on Monday but forgot to post. It's another STS for me, so all reassuringly boring. Good luck, everyone.7

Well done guys 👏 Ainsty so far you're still on target 😁
1lb loss for me this week which I'm happy with I had dinner out on Saturday and shared some Bakewell tart with my sister on Sunday, at least the Christmas chocolates are now finished!I made a vat of vegetable soup today using up the odds and ends of parsnip, swede, carrot, potato, celery, onion, courgette, French beans and yellow pepper and stirred through some cooked chicken after blitzing. That will do me for about five portions I may freeze a couple as I prefer salads for lunches when I volunteer.
i hope everyone is having a good weekLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
I made soup yesterday with carrot, cabbage, lentils and pancetta yesterday. Flavoured with garlic too. Only 2 portions though so finished it off tonight.Brambling said:Well done guys 👏 Ainsty so far you're still on target 😁

Still haven't found a battery to get the scales working (sure there are some in a drawer somewhere!) and the mechanical ones flicker. So I'll stick with STS.General_Grant said:Electronic scales not working this morning and I couldn't be bothered to play around with the battery. So used the old mechanical bathroom scales which aren't so easy to read but I'll reckon they show a STS.5 -
I find it impossible to make small portions of food especially soup, it's in the genes!katejo said:I made soup yesterday with carrot, cabbage, lentils and pancetta yesterday.
