P.S. The recent iPad update has made simple actions far more fiddly by adding in extra layers - 4 key strikes rather than 2 😖 Back to cheerleading:
Excellent decluttering Brambling, you are on a roll 👏 This “realised over Christmas that my family are enablers 🙄 fudge , chocolate and crafting stuff.” did make laugh 😆
BlueJ94, now that is what I call dedication - getting up an hour earlier to do some decluttering ☺️
London_1, a perfect way to spend a rainy day - jigsaw, knitting & reading ☺️ Hopefully your sniffle doesn’t turn into a full blown cold 🤞as it would be a shame if you missed “stitch & b*tch” morning 😞 especially as you are planning a fair amount of decluttering. Good luck finding a suitable home for the box of CDs 🍀
Excellent decluttering ladybird1106, well done on getting to the Tip 👏
vulpix, hope the CT scan went well 🤞 Keeping everything crossed for favourable result & an immediate treatment plan should there be any issues 🙏
_Dolly_Rocker_ great work clearing kitchen counters 👏 Hope the dog walking was rain free 🤞
DundeeDoll, if it helps your mum, I would call everything decluttering 😉 from eating a freshly cooked meal to having a slice of toast 😊 I will be investigating Diane from Denmark - already bookmarked 😊
tibawo, great work on your list 👏 Seems like you haven’t seen your sister yet 😔 her work colleagues are missing out 😉
Great decluttering QueenJess 👏 Good luck tracking “net stuff into the house” 🍀 I do hope your parents didn’t give your children too much for Christmas 🤞
Excellent decluttering Willowree222, especially the pencil crayons 👏
suzeesu2000, A very busy decluttering day on Tuesday, excellent work 👏 Good luck with your listings 🍀
Brie, crikey no jumpers or cardigans 😱 A bit of a shame about the jumpers but well done on getting the only suitable one at a discounted price 👏 Very impressed at the immediate 2 in, 2 out 👏 Good work sorting out the bulk of your post immediately 😊
_Dolly_Rocker_, well done on remembering the coffee jar & resisting the impulse to buy 👏
Lovely cheerleading Liverpool_Anne ☺️ A couple of very busy days so I am surprised you had time for football ……….. what am I saying, there is always time for football for a true fan 🥹 Excellent decluttering, tidying & cleaning 👏 In fact you got so much done that I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way 😊 This “Should have been heading out to the dentist but they phoned this morning to cancel as the dentist isn't in so have rearranged for next week. He has officially retired but still works as I think he's trying to sell the practice but carry on working but I think he has a few health problems that mean he's not always able to work. @Mrs SD he hadn't charged me for the last 2 filling replacements so I shouldn't complain but it still needs sorting 😁” especially the underlined part might explain why your dentist is not too keen on doing anything other than replacing the fillings 🧐 Btw do let us know if OH does all the work necessary to clear his couch 🙏 he might be in line for a medal 😉
Willowtree222, how on earth did This happen “Found a box of mince pies out of date at the back of the cupboard…..” 😳
Brie, thanks for sharing this list 👏 I agree with you about No.49 but I don’t think it would go down too well if I evicted my DSis 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
SpikyHedgehog, sounds like Tuesday was a lovely day 🥹 I have been a bit slow again so missed out on the oak leaf & acorn cakes 😞 Super mum indeed - taking so many items 👏 which has earned her a medal 🏅
florianatwobob, I love This “I currently have a very tall hot dog jar doing duty as a vase for some impulse purchase daffs.” ☺️
Florenceem, pleased to hear that your friend C was so helpful ☺️ A good start to the office decluttering 👏 How annoying that the equipment wasn’t collected 😖 I have never had the impression that your house was difficult to find 🤨 More great & eclectic decluttering 👏
Excellent decluttering oceandreamer 👏 Well done on the sales 😊 Hopefully you will think of a lovely treat to spend the monies on 🥹
_Dolly_Rocker_ good luck with the sales 🍀
Florenceem, how wonderful 🥹
_Dolly_Rocker_ fingers crossed you can get the first mortgage overpayment sorted soon 🤞
dND, love This “From one Deb to another. I still don't know what I want to do and I'm retired and 71. 🤣🤣 All I can say is keep your eyes open and an open mind and I found that usually something came up. It might have been good or it might not but I always appreciated the experience. Dxx” 🥹
Great decluttering greent 👏
Just noticed the time so am off to bed after posting this. Sleep tight 😴

Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I was up before you went to bed. I went to bed at 9 and then a friend phoned so I was chatting to her while cosy with my water bottle.
I had a horrendous night - I was in and out of bed for a fresh hot water bottle and tablets. I have an awful pain in my back. The LS was so painful that I couldn't decide which part of my body hurt most. I was up and down stairs getting fresh freezer gel pads, I think I may have had 3 hours sleep.
My friend said - have a restful day - no chance - I am going to the registrar.
Off to try my new uniform before I get dressed.

@Florenceem a friend also has LS and uses Epaderm emollient ointment (available over the counter) and something else recommended by her consultant. Between the two she describes herself as being ‘as slippery as an otter’s pocket’ but it keeps the pain and discomfort at bay.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Diane from Denmark's task today was a laundry task so will wash my smalls in the hotel bathroom (there is a small pull out washing line in my shower and handwash that will be ideal). There is no financial outlay so I think I'm OK to add the link here Embrace Your Day: Quick Daily Tasks for a Positive Start20*25 for 2025: 489 / 50023

Hopefully Florenceem you will have someone with you today when you register. My eldest DD came with me as I was obviously still in shock. It does take you at different times, I was a bit weepy, and the registrar asked if I needed a drink of water and my DD said 'Yes please, a bit of a Tennalady moment' meaning tears
The poor woman looked embarrased and confused, and I think thought I was leaking from the other end and came back with a glass of water and a towel ! ! !.
My DD assured her it was just tears though .
My DD bless her, when we came out said "Dad would have thought that hilarious Mum" which knowing my late OH's sense of humour was right, and it actually made us both smile to remember even on such a dreadful day how much he made us all laugh at life over the years.
I know its so difficult to remember all the different things you have to do, but you will get through it somehow and remember we are all here if you want a virtual shoulder to rant or cry on. Thinking of you in your sad time xxx
Well chums its just over half way through the month already the time really does seem to go quicker the older you get. The sun is struggling to come out here at the moment but I'm not sure for how long.
DD has gone to Aquacise this morning so its just me pottering around . I've started a new bag off for the Charity shop, and have a couple of paperbacks in there already.
I'm going to be ruthless and sort out the right hand bottom drawer of my double wardrobe as I feel sure there is stuff in there that can go.
Its got shoes and slippers in there that I'm pretty sure I'll not wear again. I also have a large bag of floaty scarves tucked in there which I know has been there for well over 6 months, and as such can go as if I've not worn them in 6 months I'm not likely to wear them in the next so CS bag for them.
Liverpool_Anne gosh 50 was an early start for your Dad
I'm a good 30 odd years older
I hope everyone has a good day and the sun shines down on at least some of you today

Thank you, whoever it was who mentioned Diana in Denmark on here. I have been watching some of her videos and it has really made me realise that although I definitely need to declutter, I also need to have routines in place so that I am more organised, otherwise I'm just going to declutter then start accumulating it all over again! It's been something of a revelation and I can't quite believe its taken me this long to realise why I live in such a mess!
Thank you also whoever mentioned that WoB take dvds. I have managed to declutter a small pile in with a box of books. Also listed some random items on v and have already sold one. Also decluttered two pairs of shoes that I won't wear again. Am aiming to get rid of something every day, however small. Hope everyone has a good day.

Tis done, scarves rolled and fit into 2 shoe box size storage boxes, handbags in one box, jewellery in another and paper stuff in another on the top shelf where I can't reach. It is stuff like cards the kids made for me when they were little. A left over box donated to Mr V for his watch boxes. I didn't look at things with a decluttering eye as jewellery, scarves and bags have been savagely decluttered in the last few years. I now have an empty drawer in the small chest of drawers for tee shirts, currently on the wardrobe floor.
A plastic wallet to go and another storage box that previously had the jewellery in. Mr V will use that for some work papers. Waste not want not.
I am feeling massively better today so I am up and running. Homes still need to be found for some things from the "mouse" boxes. They are currently on the worktop in the kitchen. I will see if I can find the coffee pot I was looking for the other day. The kitchen needs reorganising as we just put stuff in any cupboards when we moved in. I can see more shoe box size storage boxes in my future for herbs and spices etc.
First some lunch then I need to get outside and move some things further up the drive. The landscaper is coming next week. I need to make space for him to put wall stone for when we have the patio rebuilt.
I have decided a big mirror and some unused 4 ply knitting wool can go to the chazzer when Mr V attempts mission impossible to deliver the 2 bags of stuff already in the car.
