Feeling abit fragile and under the weather so taken it easy. Few calls with DDs and helping them with frogs so less done on mine.
Did manage a wash on the line but not all put away and some mopping of floors etc. My bedroom looks better ( for the time being). Printer and cables collected, papers recycled. I have several empty storage bags and space in cupboards so a storage box out in one to keep craft stuff which along with other things are currently homeless. Abit reluctant to give himes when not sure what will be left and may need to move again and v difficult to remember where things are if they keep moving.

Not much decluttering done this week, my head is all over the place after the sudden death of my brother on Wednesday. I did bring a large bag of paperwork from my elderly friends flat and sat and sort in front of strictly yesterday, most was recycled or shredded but I found the stuff I was looking for.
I was given two unopened pairs of long curtains about a year ago, the colour matches my lounge and dining room but I'm not sure if they work, maybe too bedroom ish. I may post pictures for opinions. I did start to pull the top threads on one curtain to pleat and fit the windows so I could check the length as I think they will need taking up, but lost enthusiasm I'll have to do at least one to check the colour /pattern and I'll need curtains up by winter. I also need to go sofa shopping.
I booked the decorators back in November to paint my hall stairs and landing I just need to decide on a colour and stock up on my inhalers!

Sunday is a bright sunny day with a forecast high of 22°C, low of 11°C & a W wind making it feel 1° cooler. DSis is feeling a lot better - she has been prescribed the O… for its intended purpose of reducing blood sugar & cholesterol levels rather than weight loss. Dinner tonight is roasting in the bag chicken, roast potatoes & carrots, green beans, Yorkshire puddings & gravy. Wudupa.

Hi all,
@Brambling so sorry to hear about your brother, no wonder your head is all over the place, big hugs.
@Vulpix those buttons are so cute, I would use them coloured side up.
Not a lot done yesterday, I did a bit of gardening but had to stop due to the stupid pain, dealt with some veg that ln gave me that she had over bought, peeled and chopped and put in the freezer. The lr bin was emptied and a small amount of ironing was done.
I had an early night last night as I was falling asleep on the couch and so I am awake now in what feels like the middle of the night as it is still dark 😂.
Hugs to everyone who would like one, off to put the washing up away and make another cuppa. I am still waiting for the builder to return and sort the kitchen. Although I am now used to living in a building site I am getting a bit fed up of it.
Take care everyone

@Brambling I'm sorry for your loss.
@TC77 when my brain is foggy I find it helpful to note where I've stored things as I can't remember the "really sensible" place I've put them…

Brambling, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. It is perfectly acceptable to be feeling a bit out of it at the moment.Take care.xxx
Blooming eck Liverpool Anne, I thought you would be all finished with building work. Are you still washing up in the bath?Mind I can't talk, my bathroom fitter should have come in April.
Happy kitties, I just started another blanket last night. I will pm you when I send the parcels.
Still not sewn the buttons on the quilt. I turned some £2 charity shop trousers up by way of procrastination. A size smaller no less. I cut off a bit of skin on my finger whilst I had the scissors and it slowly bled for hours! Not leaking today so I have to do the cat buttons.
My friend asked us what colour the new sofa is. I said pale green, Mr V said grey. I looked at the order details, it says olive. We may have a big surprise coming!
Gosh sorry for the massive cat button photo. It doesn't show but the other side is like balsa wood colour.
I have made a new frogs list, with everything on it. I mentally went through every room and the garden and even appointments and jobs like buy a birthday card for my Mum to send to DGS2. I would like to get a few of these eaten today. 1st job, cat buttons.
