Hi all, well it has taken me 2 days to catch up with all the posts 😁 and I am sending big hugs to all those having a stressful time due to family issues, health issues and life issues. Belated birthday and anniversary wishes also 😁.
I have had a couple of lazy days. On Friday I had to collect some Australian dollars I had ordered for OH to send as birthday gifts but not having the car I spent some time working out how to get there on the bus, turned out to be quite easy when combined with a bit of a walk but then I realised my bus pass had expired on my birthday so down another rabbit hope to find out how to get it renewed. Eventually found a phone number and after a shortish wait listening to musak I spoke to a pleasant man who apologised as I should have had a reminder letter but definitely didn't, I am on top of my post, he arranged for a new one to be posted out, hopefully I will get it tomorrow or Tuesday. Upshot was I phoned OH to either pick them up or call in to give me a lift. OH arrived shortly after and we went to pick them up and OH stayed around for most of the afternoon, day gone 😂.
Yesterday I decided to tackle the front garden. I have 4 trough things next to the fence and while weeding them discovered 3 tree saplings that though were quite small had very long tough roots and took a good deal of pulling to get out. We have a species of oak trees in the road and I think these are the result of the resident squirrels doing what squirrels do 😂. While continuing I also found several peanut husks half buried 😂. I need to do more out there as the leaves from the trees are starting to gather but I got a builders bag of weeds etc into the green bin before I needed a rest as the stomach was starting to twinge. A "helpful" neighbour has also dropped a load of wood for the log burner which needs sorting and storing, sometimes it's not suitable for the log burner and I have to take it to the tip 😂. I will try to sort that today and then give it a sweep to collect the leaves.
So I can only add 2 to my numbers which is not really very good but every bit helps 😂 so now at 2155/2026.
@Vulpix please don't cancel the knee op, losing weight will help but if they have told you you need a new knee it will only get worse if you leave it and as Mrs SD said it might help with the back, hugs.
Take care everyone

Positive news for your niece and sister Mrs SD. I have a friend who was prescribed one of these drugs for her diabetes but it made her ill and she had to stop. I suppose no one knows what their reaction will be until they have taken it. I have a feeling that in the fullness of time it will turn out to have not been a very good idea, like vapes.
Weenancy, you are right. Eat less and move more. Tried and tested for me. Not always that easy to start or stick to but the most natural way to lose weight.
So weight loss chums, how shall we approach our job in hand? I weigh in on a Tuesday and am happy to declare if I have de cluttered any pounds. Does anyone want to join me or are we keeping it private? Suggestions ? BTW, I am not going to disclose my weight, just how much I loose.😁
Great to see you Happy Kitties. I suspected you were otherwise occupied! Shall I send you some parcels? I could always send direct to the organiser if you are scheduled more hospital treatment. I am pleased that you are home just now and cracking on with daily life.xx
As promised, cat buttons. There are more different styles. I haven’t decided yet whether to have them pattern or plain.

Happy to take the parcels, they will be very much appreciated, thank you. I’m working on my final 3 shoeboxes which I will need to drop off with some other bits. Just some ongoing hospital appointments now while 2 hospitals fight it out and MDT meetings of who wants to go first with 2 surgeries…..currently neither does!!!

Yes please @vulpix Tuesday declaration of loss or gain without bulkage disclosure would be great for me. Thank you.
Glad your DSis is feeling better @Mrs_Salad_Dodger, hope the next injection doesn’t have the same effect.🤞
Where’s @Florenceem most unlike her to be MIA….Made pot of veg soup today, that will do for 3 tea time/suppers this week. Finished up the Easter parsnips. Dinner for DH was freezer, mine was freezer and salad.
2 Vinted parcels have gone out today, DF is posting for me tomorrow. Got lots of listing to do tonight.
General waste bin is out ready for Monday collection. Our binmen are brilliant, we’re very lucky.

Not much achieved today really. Went out for Sunday dinner with DS2 and family. Back here just after 5 and had a short nap. Woke up to click of TV and all power going off. Large area of town off. Just come back on but I'm too tired to start munching frogs as planned.
@Vulpix - I will weigh myself tomorrow and sign up for a Tuesday check in.
