@London_1 nice to see you back, figured you were very busy. Congrats on new GGbaby. I went to the Lighthouse for same as you, they removed it and got my results last week of all clear so hope the same for you.
Busy day here. 3 sales today. One I had to cobble another box together for, I’m getting quite good at that. Sorted another stack of books. Some will be listed tonight and some will be donated to Tesco for their Sight for Wight charity stand.
Tidied kitchen this afternoon and found a space for the stack of empty totes.
Planning to spend some time going through the pantry shelves again this weekend to see what can be donated to Foodbank and what needs going. I’m hoping to clear one whole set of shelves by November.I’ve also set 01st November as my cut off date for the charity that I’ve been collecting things for. I’ve a sneaky feeling that the kitchen people are going to give a November date for the new kitchen…Hope so anyway.
Have a great weekend all, have a good night, sweet dreams. xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Lovely to see people back and hoping everyone takes time in the well stocked tlc carriage.
Mrs SD sorry to hear about Mr SD's relative and hoping a good recovery.
I can't seem to get out of my chaos bit still trying to have faith calm will emerge at some point.
@vulpix I think without my dad's ( and my mum's as we left her stuff) I would be on to aemtimental stuff.
Finding swopping winter and summer clothes more difficult than envisaged as many clothes I haven't worn. And bought some clothes recently ( really new) and would love to do one in and one out but too hard at the moment
Dress and trousers in cs bag, lovely.and vgc but have more that I can wear..some papers out and unsubscribing. Lovely family wedding in the countryside but meant I bought two dresses.
Off to make list form tomorrow!

Did I do some weeding, no. Did I sew the buttons on the quilt, no. I emptied the bookcase in the bathroom and put the books in the built in wardrobe. I then went through my hanging clothes and got several tops out to try on and 3 tops to go. I must ask round to see if anyone wants to come to the clothes swap with me.
Yorkie1, yup, come on in the losing a few pounds before Christmas carriage. We can share our journey together,
Florenceem, There are very few shops local to me so I buy the cotton batting from Dunelm when we go to a town. It comes in different cut sizes. The most recent piece I bought was 25 or 26 pounds. I like the quality and weight of it so I think it's worth it.I could probably buy cheaper online but I think if we don't use shops everything will have to be online. You would enjoy making a quilt, you could go to town with it, you are very good with colours. I think I will make one for myself to go on my new sofa. I have made quite a few but for other people. Oh I made myself a Christmas quilt with fabric I bought in Canada. I don't know if you do pinterest but you can get a lot of pattern ideas there. I think you can buy patterns but I just make my own up.
2scratters, what a good idea to use an under bed drawer for laundry. I use the empty washing machine.😂

Friday is a bright sunny day with a forecast high of 21°C, low of 12°C & a SSW wind making it feel 1° cooler. The recycling wheelie bin was emptied this morning - only a day late. No joy on the Premium Bonds although DH won £75 😊 Thank you all for the anniversary wishes ☺️ DSis has been very unwell since Wednesday after her doctor gave her an Oz.m..c injection to lower her blood sugar levels. Unfortunately she has been suffering from stomach cramps & has been vomiting for England. She has been unable to keep food down. DH & I had salmon fillets, boiled new potatoes & tomato & pepper salad for our dinner. DSis had a tin of minestrone soup - 4 hours ago & so far all OK 😮💨 Wudupa

Miss_BaLu, relieved to hear that the council finally did at least some of the work 😥 but do understand why you bought your own bed. It is exhausting dealing with officialdom when they are dragging their heels 😩 Sorry to hear that the dogs had a bad night 😔 So many inconsiderate people around 😖 & I am always at a loss to understand why anyone would set off fireworks when there are no events. A sad day yesterday 😢 Gentle cwtches for you & your family 🤗
Florenceem, relieved to hear that had a better night’s sleep 🙂 Hope you enjoy the birthday party 😊 Lovely looking door 😊
vulpix good luck on your continuing journey to declutter weight 🍀 & also to suzeesu & Miss BaLu 🍀
Great work getting the fence sorted EnergyShifter 👏 Good luck on your weight loss journey 🍀
Brie, that sounds about par for the course 😉 In my case as soon as I start getting space in my freezers it is my DSis that fills it ☹️
Florenceem, your niece Z is a wise young lady 🥹 Fingers crossed the dental treatment goes well 🤞
Excellent work decluttering so many books, suzeesu2000 👏

Well I got very little done last week and things seem to have come in rather than left. Frogs are maturing into large adults so they are becoming urgent. Nice to see a few friends who hadn't posted lately. DS2 is away tonight so DGCs are here - I'll see if DGD4 wants to do a bit of vacuuming and cleaning in return for some pocket money.
No news from joiner yet - it is over 6 months since I started on the hall and it seems to be taking for ever. Hopefully radiator will be fitted this week. Floorboards with gaps mean it is starting to get chilly although part of hall still has its old carpet in place. DD is coming Tuesday afternoon to Thursday morning although she will be working we will have four hours in the daytime Weds to do things. I'll go through my Paris plans with her.
I need to join in the weight loss as you can see from my signature I am failing miserably. I lost over a stone which I have put back on - I felt much better without it. The 1p saver is going well and I have two thirds of the money needed for my Christmas family envelopes. That has been really useful this last few years as I used to have to use the '13th month' money I got from my state pension for that. I will get two payments from DWP this month so I can use that to buy a few actual presents although I don't get many now and I am only doing stockings for the grandchildren this year and I will make up a small hamper for each household. I saw some hamper baskets in B & M yesterday so I will get those. I bought 4 Christmas money envelopes but will need more than that.
I was chasing Sox round the garden at 11 last night to get him to drop the mouse he was playing with and come in. I managed to grab him squirming and meowing at me and very cross. Mouse had gone this morning from where it was last seen. Sox went out to check the area thoroughly and has no doubt gone to hunt for more. I bought some shelving for the cupboard which is only 700mm wide so limited options. I may attempt to put it together. I had a quick tidy and move round in kitchen cupboards to make room for some items.
964 Kitchen cupboard tidy and small reorganisation
965 Broken clothes horse out - I have two but several rungs are loose on this one and I only need one anyway
966 Monthly banking done and CC paid off as usual.
Yesterday was 13 years since my mother died, her 87th wedding anniversary and 61 years since my sister went to USA. In December it will be 15 years since my two oldest brothers died just 13 days apart. Time just gallops by so fast.
Right I'd better get dressed as DGCs will be here soon although as it's Saturday they'll probably go back to bed

regnbue, of course. I will do it later, we are just off on a jaunt to Lincolnshire.👋 Granny Kate.
Poor Salad sister, I do hope she is feeling better today.xx
Granny Kate, yes, do join us with a bit of weight loss before Christmas. Haha to Sox. Fluffy still sits on mouse watch months after a mouse she brought in ran under the fridge. The mouse was unbeknown to her saved and released.

Every time I read that someone's decluttered emails or digital photos, I go and delete some emails or photos. There are still many of both, but any decluttering is better than none.
I had 10 days annual leave, in which younger son and I were planning to go to Norfolk and spend much time on the beach. Instead, we had colds, so stayed home to sneeze in comfort 🤧. So I spent the time on the sofa, doing much mending, watching stuff I'd planned to watch on iplayer and knitting a pair of socks.
I was back to work on Wednesday, and had 3 full days. We came home from youth group at 9.30pm on Thursday to discover Highways England doing night time road works. Which involved digging up the whole junction for our cul de sac. After driving around to see how close I could get, I ended up parking 0.5 km away from the house, so didn't get in till 10.15pm. I was grumpy! This was not the road they'd said they were going to be working on in October, and there had been no notice of the road closure. They were working on it again last night till about 2am, and if they haven't finished, will be back tonight. And I'm meant to be going to a party on the other side of town which means taking the car... I've got to go to M0rris0ns later to get my blood pressure medication, so I'll see if they've finished or not. If not, I'm not going to the party and risking coming home to find I can't get there again.

Morning all.
I had a horrid night - up and down to the bathroom, changing freezer pads and taking pain killers. I felt so down with the loss of my Mr F and Jasper plus the severe pain. Eventually got to sleep - my watch says just over 6 hours.
I had thought of going to prayer breakfast at my old Church - where I was for 16 years. Obviously after a bad night I didn't get up in time. There is a history talk this afternoon about the Church building - I can't face sitting on a pew seat although the speaker is very good.
At my old SA - there is a quiz and meal late afternoon. I phoned P who left there to see if he wanted to go as I know he likes a quiz. P feels too hurt by the corps so doesn't want to go.
I have had a really lazy morning - still in nightie.
I had half of a ready meal yesterday that my bestie gave to me, with cauli, brocolli and an onion. I have a pack of Kentucky style chicken so will have some for today's meal.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable and productive day.

👋 @vulpix - its a beautiful day here in N Lincs. I went into town with DGCs as I wanted to go to Smiths (Now Jones) and DS2 had given children some spending money. DGD4 wanted to go to Primark and DGS4 wanted football bits and stickers. We had snacks at Greggs and now they are out with friends. I did buy a cardigan for myself, a guide book to Paris and some account books for next year. I decluttered money from bank and my 1p saver is now up to date.
Having a cup of tea and deciding if I am up to doing a bit of gardening.
