Belated Happy Anniversary.

This is the problem door - looks okay when closed and you are in the porch. Looks good from inside the house.
I will live with the stuck edge until warmer weather - it may dry quicker then.

Well, lets do it then suzeesu and Miss BaLu. That delights me that it rhymes. 12 weeks to Christmas eve today.Slow and steady. I have no desire to be skinny, just to be able to wear all my nice clothes at Christmas and beyond. All I am doing really is no processed food. I weigh in on a Tuesday at a slimming group and if I have lost weight I have what I want for my dinner. Then back to it. Filling up on fruit and veg.
Your meal out, sounded yummy Mrs SD. Beautiful flowers. xx
Miss BaLu, you have really got a lot going on atm. All stuff out of your control too.xxx
It's a lovely day here, garden weeds, here I come.

Happy Anniversary @Mrs SD 💐
Got the fence done yesterday - it looks like a patchwork quilt but its pretty sound.
Got some admin done this morning - replying to emails - and coached one person. 1 or 2 more to go then I can get back out in the garden. The weather is so gorgeous its paining me to be stuck inside.
Can I join you in the weight decluttering @Vulpix, Miss Balu & Suzeesu - I could really do with decluttering some weight too. I never lost my winter weight from last winter so consequently I am 5lb heavier than I was this time last year. In previous years its come off fairly naturally with more activity in the Spring but this year because I was newly on anti-anxiety meds I spent a couple of months impersonating rip-van-winkle. In spite of my increased activity recently I've only lost a 1lb !!! It's lovely that the meds are working but they've made me a bit too laid back about things. It's come to my attention this week because I have an important event next weekend and all of the things I'd considered wearing are a bit tight which is annoying. Too late to do anything by the 11th but Christmas sounds like a good focus.

Another 2 out and a zillion in….
OH has decided what he wants for his birthday supper - peking duck - and was pleased to find it on special in the supermarket. So it was bought despite his birthday being over a month off still. Net result was me reorganising the freezer in the garage (as opposed to the one in the kitchen…) which then had a knock on affect of me bringing the pack of fizzy water in from the garage to the kitchen, moving the kriek (cherry beer) off the counter into the fridge to make room on the counter for the water. To get the beer into the fridge I noticed 2 jars I didn't know were in there - both welllllll beyond being edible. So into the bin with them.
And today we went to the market and because he knew I'd been moving things around asked if there was enough room in the freezer for the 4 for £20 lamb shanks that one of the meat stalls was selling. Room was available. Sigh. I'm going to need to go through the freezer again and see what I can get rid - I know there's some over ripe banana in there as well as some blueberries….muffins anyone??

Lots of people on here wanting to lose weight - hope everything goes well.
I met my niece when I popped to Asd. for milk - she said - wow! you have lost weight. I hadn't seen Z for ages. She told me to make sure I ate. I am 10 lbs more than my lowest weight in April but for my height - look thin.
I had started to gain some weight after losing Mr F only to lose it again after the loss of Jasper.
I just booked an appointment at my dentist. I was due to have fillings in January but cancelled when I lost Mr F. I had rebooked an appointment in July and then we lost Jasper. I have to go back to having a check up to restart treatment - just as well - found a hole in a tooth yesterday.

Very much looking forward to having chums to hold hands with on our weight loss journey. Thank you @vulpix I need someone to be accountable to.
Found another book buying site so scanned all the remaining books and they are collecting a box of them tomorrow. Still have quite a few left but the charity shop may take them now. Sold 2 things on eBay so another winning day. Decided that, as I have an awful lot of clothes to list, I will try to do 2 or 3 things a day, otherwise it might get a bit overwhelming. DH said he now wants to declutter and totally sort the bottom of the cupboard on the landing. Be nice if we could get that done over the weekend.
Love the front door @Florenceem, we had a mirror finish cherry red one like that when we lived in horrid London.
Glad you and MrSD enjoyed your anniversary @Mrs_Salad_Dodger and the flowers are lovely, very cheerful.

Not really done a lot this week. Quiz this morning and a bit of shopping followed by drop off at tip. DGC's mother has managed to get a house here in town (they have been living 25 miles away for a few years - so long school runs) - DGCs are very excited so hopefully everything goes through ok now. It will make life so much easier all round and much less stressful for DGCs. The bus that stops near the new house also stops right outside their dad's and near to mine.

2 bits out via Vinted this week. Not big earnings but items out of the house and pennies back in the house so that’s a win to us.
I have a couple more bits to list but that’s on the to do list for this weekend.

Forgot to mention that there were a couple of very short, light showers yesterday evening. Thursday is mainly bright & sunny with a high of 21°C, low of 14°C & a WSW wind making it feel 1° cooler. I wrote a shopping list for DH then he & DSis dropped me off at the restaurant & I settled up - they were very surprised 😉 Whilst we were putting the shopping away DH got a call from his niece S to let us know that her cousin niece G was in hospital after a suspected stroke. Apparently she is sitting up & talking 😮💨 It is so unfair DH had a bath & got ready to meet up with ex-colleagues. DH had a bowl of hm soup before he left at 17:00, finally getting home 23:30 - remarkably he was only a bit tipsy 🥴 Dinner for DSis & I was from the freezer - lo sausage & spinach linguine for DSis, bacon & pea linguine for me. Wudupa.
