.Got rid of 10 folders in my email folders pile.Nice repair man came to fix stair lift only he can't. Got to wait until after the New Year for our usual repairman to have a look and, if he cant fix it, will have to be a new one. We've only had this for 3 years and its been repaired about a dozen times. The sun is out but its blimming cold today.Hope everyone is having a good one xxI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Sadly no. The warranty was for 2 years and we had so many call outs during that time. I asked for replacement but all to no avail. After warranty expired, we had to find a repairman ourselves and, being on the Isle of Wight, that’s no easy job. We found one who had to come from the mainland at a cost to us of £240 plus parts every time. Used them 3 times😱😱😱 Our housing association now provides servicing and repairs for £5 per week which is so much better. Such a pain as, being a disabled household, we rely on it so much. Never mind, could be worse. Not going to stress out over it. 😥😥Brie said:

think that qualifies under martins sadfart rules? Get back to the manufacturer as a piece of equipment like that should be reasonably expected to last longer than 3 years without even a single repair?

I agree with Daisy, you shouldn't have had lots of call-outs within the first 2-3 years!daisy_1571 said:think that qualifies under martins sadfart rules? DxxWent through CAB for advice and comes down to me accepting a repair initially.I now know I should have demanded a replacement but, in my defence, I was dealing with cancer and not running at 100% I’ve learnt the hard way. But I have learnt! The warranty was for 24 months and that expired in December 2023.Than you though 😁 xSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Hi Everyone
I've just jumped ship from the 2025 thread where I set out my intentions for 2026 so won't bore you all by repeating it.
Very excited to start afresh with new energy

@suzeesu2000- I do think you should name the company as a warning to others though if it was of such shoddy contruction.18

Hi, just wanted to join. I have been reading along for quite a few months and feel encouraged by everyone's successes. 2025 has been a difficult year so looking forward to a better year.
I need to declutter weight from myself and the house.
I am not going to set a target of an amount but just aim to make inroads into the clutter and stop keeping things "just in case"
Best wishes to everyone for 202625
