Morning all, I’d love to join in again please.
I joined earlier this year but think my enthusiasm burned me out! I’ve continued to read along when I can as my intention is still to move when the right house pops up. So a big thank you to Granny Kate and Vulpix and anyone else who’s moved for inspiration.
My house is still tidy from previous efforts but there’s loads of categories I need to go through again. I have very elderly parents whose health is beginning to decline and as the only sibling living close most things fall to me. So my plan for the new year ahead is to tackle categories one by one, slowly and steadily.14 -
Love the idea of decluttering routines @TC77 x16

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger thank you for your continuing encouragement support praise and lovely comments. You keep us all going and are truly remarkable 😊💕🤩
2026 I hope to continue in maintenance mode, forgive myself for the thrift store spending sprees and nurture LO who is fast becoming a redistribution specialist ❤️17 -
On the day that the New Years Honours are announced I think Mrs SD should be a recipient too. After a pretty torrid 18months I always find the support, encouragement , and the 'just being there' one of the endearing things about this thread and the people who post ( or lurk ) within it, and particularly the unstinting efforts of Mrs SD
I will be joining in 2026 but as I have said before - I don't count - I just do. May have to 'do a bit harder this year as DS is getting married in June and there is an awful lot to do before then.

Like a few others I'm starting early, just easy stuff, e-mails, 33 got rid of this morning, I have a bad habit of only checking once or twice a week, which is an improvement for me, as long as I don't go back to having 1400+ unread emails which is what I had this time last year I'm counting it as 'doing okay'.£71.93/ £180.0014

Just to make everyone giggle (and I’m sure it says more about my brain than it should)….. I keep reading redistribution as…….retribution.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi, can join for 2026 please? I have a 4 bedroom house with garage and loft, and it's full of stuff I don't need/want/use and a total mess! I'm also very cash poor, so maybe it'll help me figure out using some things up, selling things on, or giving them away.
I don't have a list yet, but I'd like to aim for an hour of effort for the next 52 weeks. I'll write the list before NY!
List of good intentions in progress! I'm always in it. It's just the depth that varies.Immediate Problem: Overdraft: £752.59 * Paypal £671.07 * Creation £592.74 = £2,016.04Phase 1: Vanquis CC £4100.11 * Tesco CC £3996.60 * Capital One CC £3800 = £11,896.71Phase 2: Zopa Loan: £12,75518 -
I bought a new sofa from Wayfair in the sales and it making me realise we have too much other furniture. It feels like I'm edging around the furniture which is quite ridiculous.

I am going to call up a local charity and try and get it picked up. I have accumulated a lot of stuff this year as Leigh-on-sea has so many nice charity shops, but I need to do a cull as there is too many things and I'm sure other people will enjoy using them. I will wait until the 2nd of January to call them up so I have the next few days to decide what is going. As usual I don't have plans for new years eve so that can be my project for the next few days!
I will take a photo of what is leaving to show how much I'm getting rid of to put on here.

I decided there was no reason to wait so these chairs are being picked up on Saturday by a local charity.
