Morning all,
Today's tea was a spiced blend, breakfast was fruit loaf with jam and banana! This heat is too much especially when im working in a big metal tin essentially.
I think im going to try and wake up earlier tomorrow because I seem to be rushing to get ready a bit in the mornings now.

Morning. Not posted much because I am doing very little but surviving in this heat. My leg problem is better but still have pain just in ankle - think is sciatica. I got up and took some paracetamol in the night as it did at least enable me to go back to sleep. I went to The Range with DS2 on Monday and spotted an office chair which seemed really comfortable so rather than dither I bought it and DS2 was able to put it together. Undecided whether to keep the old dining room chair I was using. Neighbours are doing their drive and came round with their builder to look at side paving which we had talked about the other day. They are able to drill damaged grout out and replace, get rid of weeds and lay some stones along the edge (about 9 inches of earth) where there were plants and weeds. Their plan is to do it whilst they are waiting for deliveries etc next door and very reasonable price. In the first hour all the plants and weeds were gone - i've been tackling those for months. I'm struggling to keep my greenhouse plants alive it is just too hot.
I must do some paperwork today and follow up from Tuesday and Weds meetings. Hair appointment and children to collect later, car service tomorrow. I have some bits to put in car for tip when I go to hairdressers but won't count them until they are gone.
Try and keep cool.
673 Chair purchased
674 All July cards written
675 Paper frogs done
676 Weeds from side of house gone. I will post before and after pictures.

Morning.
I'm not doing very well with decluttering at the moment other than keeping on top of the black bags and recycling going out.
Although I've had to bin another pair of jeans due to wearing them out and having a hole in them.
Id managed to get most of t-shirts with grease marks wearable, but have found 2 with grease marks again. They will be put back into the charity shop pile.
I've unfortunately had quite a few books come in, 22 if I've added up correctly. 10 from a charity shop at 50p each and was pleasantly surprised to find complete sets, plus the rest I think were discounted when I visited the boat at the excel center.
I hadn't intended to buy so many, but couldn't resist, but fully intend to use some of the books as Christmas presents, although it probably means buying a couple extra books as I didn't realise that some are part of a series. I am tempted to give them as they are, so I only have 1 series to complete and have less money going out and less books in.

Morning all.
Hot here again.
Had a phone call from bestie late yesterday evening - she was stressed - we chatted. I didn't want to get in the shower when the tablets were making me woozy so will have it this morning.
I plan to take the shopping trolley of donations to the charity shop but no shopping to do.
I still have gnome pieces of knitting in my craft room. I hope to get another gnome completed today.
I still haven't finished my sort out of the airing cupboard,
Hope all have a good day.

Work (a school) broke up yesterday, and I'm not back in until 12th Aug (although I have done 1 webinar this morning at home and have another this afternoon) Hopefully this means I can make some progress! In the meantime, this is what's gone since I last posted just over a month ago:

Digital declutter 20026(achieved 02/04) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️28626 - 28672 - items deleted from TV box
includes 31/26 unsubscribing target
Declutter 26lb⭐️another 2lb off - now 18/26 🙌
I'm hoping to make some real progress whilst I'm off - but am also aware that work has been crazy and I also need some downtime (I'm thinking that reading some of my 'to be read' pile of books gives me downtime and means I'll be able to get rid of the books afterwards - win:win! 😁)
I should be posting more regularly for the next few weeks… 🤞

@vulpix I am keeping my fingers cross, they are rectifying some work from last lot who I couldn't face getting out again and complaining!
Mrs SD, the donation hub is at where the old Ladywell Baths was . I'll DM you a link and happy to take things there for you if the timing doesn't work. It's for homeless and refugees primarily (including in temporary housing) so they want sleeping bags, some clothes electricals etc). They took old camp beds, bedding and also jars for apportioning out food. They take donations mid week afternoons.
Decorator coming into my house to check how windows open and having to move things around - how on earth do I have so much left of general stuff ? (never started on photos, sentimental stuff in boxes and suitcases). Ok, years of wombling, and not recognising my abundance. As home to check all ok with scaffolding will try and do some decluttering even if only digital.
Will report back later!
