I did another tip run.
Not like me at all. Big items have now left the house
Two huge boxes
A broken water butt
A broken fire pit
An old TV Aerial
Two electrical items
Nearly all of them were from the garage, so again more space and operation garage making progress.

Morning everyone, sorry for being AWOL for a couple of months, no reason just RL got busy.
I have continued my digital decluttering and managed to get my email inbox below 10k; I know that's still ridiculously big but it was 25k at one point. I have been clearing my kitchen cupboards and put some OOD items in the food waste bin, there were not too many. My friend called round last week and I remembered she volunteers in a NT secondhand book shop so i managed to find 6 books for her to take.
Love to all

Morning.
Operation latch hook rug is under starters orders. it has taken me a few weeks to cut up over a hundred balls of wool into 8cm pieces but it is done! I need to decide whether to do two smaller rugs with the children or a large one…I'm thinking smaller as the groups will probably work better if they are smaller.
I sent my GD home with a big bag of craft stuff that she had hinted at wanting to have a go at, so I got her her own supplies. I also taught her how to do basic crochet and sent her home with chunky wool from my stash and very chunky crochet hooks.
I finish work on Friday for a few weeks, I have a huge list of things to do, although we have been roped into dog sitting as the sitter has had to cancel at short notice. I'm sure it will be fun as we'll be sitting another dog already. We don't have any pets of our own 🤣

Thank you everyone for your messages, unfortunately I'm not in any union, I spoke to my employment adviser yesterday and he said that it wasn't good how they were treating me and it's a means to a end.
Today I've changed the bed sheets with DS's help been washed and clean ones put on, also cleaned the bathroom upstairs.
Some paperwork has been sorted and put into the recycling, emails sorted out, and ordered some more shampoo.
Got some wrapping paper to sort out and put on freegle once I have.

J arrived - I thought he would use a bucket and cloth to clean the garage door but he used the power washer. J moved the furniture from the lounge to the landing. He couldn't paint the outside woodwork as it was wet from the power washer.
I went out - fed the gulls - they were down before I moved away from the food.
I had to buy a different brand of tea bags in £lan.
I got cash to replace what I paid J yesterday.
Took a bag of rags and a bag of donations to the charity shop.
Just had my lunch.
I finished another gnome - Augustus.

Thanks @Green_hopeful , for the photo of your fantastic garden . We are also on clay, now baked clay, but as we are very close to the river the water table is high enough for the trees and the big shrubs. However the garden inside the turning circle is parched wasteland.
I have had to declutter 3 perennials that I bought earlier in the year as they have dried out completely in the pots .
Also out is1 pile admin paper
1 box of 7yr old pasta - I hang my head in shame and
1 pile of cards. Someone here said that they were fed up going through the unsuitable ones to find on that they liked, so I adopted that idea . Reading people’s posts is a great source of inspiration.
Hugs to everyone who would like one from 39 degree SW France.17 -
my total is now 235+6=241/365.

We are in central France at the moment - 36 degrees here. The heat is just relentless, with no end in sight, and the ground is extremely dry; the grass is all dead, and some of the vegetation is dying off too, and leaves falling off the trees.
On a positive note, we have now decluttered 1002 items of our target of 2026 for this year!

Im getting sick of myself not being able to just put stuff away.. so I forced myself to clean up the side unit in the bedroom.. took less than 10 minutes..
