Mrs SD, thank you for the encouragement, I think part of the issue is the amount brought in from.my dad's, in part as easier to find a home for stuff in london than his and the amount of interests etc. Really pleased with furniture which meant I passed on mine but its the smaller things and I need to overcome my aversion to the black landfill bin!

The 15 mins for sorting out a drawer or wallpaper etc does work. Found cs (red +) which takes electrical and cushions not taking more stock. May take some stuff to the posh cs up the hill but thr boutique one there is closing down and read more CSs nationally are to close.

Morning all.

MrsSD - still to decorate in the house is the upper stairs area and the downstairs hall plus the new guest bedroom. The ceiling in the bathroom needs a coat or two of emulsion on the ceiling.

BlueJ94 - good idea to get some bits put away for Christmas.

I managed to hang a picture on the wall in my bedroom - a numbered print of Faversham which has green in it to go with my same colour bedroom. I also clambered on the bed to hang a numbered drawing of the outline of Jesus's face. I have forgotten where we got that one. My bestie gave me the Faversham picture. I have other pictures somewhere in the old office.

I said to J it doesn't matter if we don't get around to putting the occasional table together - 3 pages of drawings and instructions for a small item. My rug for the craft room is coming today.

I have a Freegler coming to collect two storage boxes.

This morning I plan to go through and empty a bag that is sitting in my craft room.

I carried on with my knitting yesterday evening. I had to take painkillers before I went to bed. I also had to get up in the night for a new freezer pack.

Young J has arrived and we discussed which walls are to be Timeless and which are Babouche.

J is doing some filling and has removed the rails that Occupational Therapy installed for Mr F.

N is coming at 10 to fit the blind in the lounge.

I had a message from the sofa company - it is coming earlier than expected which is lovely.

Wow everyone has been so busy

Since I last posted sells on vinted have been good 👍 still uploading when I have the momentum

DS has sorted out some of his toys for me to sell and he did it all on his own

My birthday balloons and chocolates have now been decluttered

My slippers has given up so they went in the bin and I've got some new ones

I am now back at work on a phrased return after 7.5 months off, it feels very strange and I feel a bit lost, and when I go in later I need to sort out my wages as they have been messed up again

I have received my £100 from Nationwide today so that will hope

I always buy my xmas pud in advance when they're on offer.

Last year I got the one for Xmas 2026 as it's best before March 2027.

It's tucked away on my pantry shelf.

Sometimes I wink at it when I go past…good times ahead😋

Tried the 15 minute idea last night. I'm trying to read more books and watch films I've never seen instead of being online so much.

Managed 15 minutes manual shredding and emptied the bag, lots of tidying and re-homing of items, not much binned. Decluttered disintegrating peonies and trimmed remaining ones giving them fresh water and uud surplus sachet of plant food all whilst watching Da Vinci Code. I would have got more done had I not had to look up for frequent translation subtitles but pleased with what I did manage.

Today frog phone call to pension company. They didn't take my monthly contribution and seem to be under the impression I wish to retire next week. Ha ha. Sorted out with minimum wait.

Other dreaded phone call frog managed to fix online.

Just leaves having to ring HMRC who, despite me taking an unpaid year off work, seem to think I owe them a lump of money. Maybe a job for next week…

I need a skip, but a couple of sales on Vinted. I took a full bag for life to CH and left the bag for life too. Couple of books to the Tesco CH bookcase.

Big bag to the charity shop today. Means the ROD is a bit emptier and so is the back seat of my car (car of doom??) as I tend to do these things in stages over a couple of days.

One parcel ready to be wrapped for Ziffit and another parcelled up for a Vinted sale. I have a few other bits rest for uploading when I have an opportune moment. Quite excited as I had sufficient reusable packaging for them both!! So a selection of bag and bubble wrap has also been decluttered.
