I am still going through stuff from the office.
I have found a Premium Savings Bond slip for £2 with 2 numbers on it. I looked on the website but it wants the holder's number which I don't have. I think it may have been Mil's bonds.
Decluttered today - plastic cover x 2, paperclip, folder of peel offs, baking tin x 2, cardboard box, water filter cartridge, OOD food, bottle of alcohol, diary x 8, ribbons, beer mat, plastic bag, laminated cards, pencil sharpener, plastic parker pen case, memory stick, pen x 2, packet of peel offs.

As requested, a pic of my pic….
I absolutely fell in love as soon as I saw it. It was £5 which I think was great as it’s professionally framed and the front is real glass. Plus I know the place depicted as it’s just a few miles from me and where we used to live. It’s not small either. I would guesstimate 3’ x 2’. It’s going to go centrally on the wall behind the bed. Couldn’t do it today as body needs time to recover from yesterday!
@florenceem, I love your new jug too, lovely colours.
Hospital are telling me mum is now classed as totally immobile. She’s hardly eating - apart from a small tub of ice cream and a few bites of banana that my sister fed her today, spending majority of the time asleep. On the upside, possible place in a nursing home much closer to family so fingers crossed.

Hi.
Still lurking!!
Not much gone since my last post, one or two things at a time. I have grandish plans but no motivation. I want to get rid of my dining table, it's being used as a dumping ground and driving me mad. OH just rolls his eyes as I have gotten rid of four over the years, and then decide that I need one again and go hunting for 'The One' I obviously haven't found the forever one yet 🤣

suzeesu2000 - that is a beautiful picture.
My bestie offered me a choice of some pictures - I chose one by a Scottish artist - will take a photo in the daylight.
When I was in Dunhel.. yesterday I looked at the mirrors - they had some reasonably priced ones - I will get a couple - one for the bedroom and one for the office which of course will eventually be a guest bedroom.
J will come after work tomorrow to put my bins out - but last week's bins have not been emptied. I have sent an email to the council. There must be a contingency plan for restricted access roads.

@daisy_1571 there are three depths for the boxes, all of which are 12cm square (400ml / 4cm depth; 750ml / 8cm depth; 1.2L / 12 cm depth). So I imagine the lids will be interchangeable.
But the boxes are sold only in one size at a time - there isn't a mixture in each pack sold. As it's just me for the batch cooking quantities, I find the 400ml size is generally adequate.
Lovely jug @Florenceem and such a contemplative picture @suzeesu2000 .
I had a full paper recycling box this morning - some from the allotment shop and not all from me!
My house is about 90 years old, and it has an original wooden front door which has an arch at the top, a porthole window and three strips of glass in the bottom part. The door faces east and is painted pillarbox red. It does peel a bit in the sun, and has warped so that it no longer properly fits the frame. Eventually I'd like to build a porch so that the draughtiness of the front door is of less importance.

I popped around to do more work in friends kitchen this morning and threw away about twenty or so jars of spices the oldest 2010. I was also able to add more tins to the food bank bag and was able to drop off a big bag 🙂
I felt the need to sort out my larder cupboard this afternoon luckily there was only two spice jars with about a cm of set spice which needed throwing out. It all looks nice and tidy and I've put a couple of tins to the front to use up soon. I seem to be collecting tin fish!
