Bestie picked me up to go to Lent course. Lots of home made cakes there - I did have 2 cakes.
Bestie said there is a lovely lady who volunteers in the charity shop on a Tuesday called Jean - you would like her. Jean was there tonight - I already knew her - she taught my 3 girls.
It was a Churches together course so the lovely nuns from the Abbey were there.
Someone is asking about the glass cabinet I put on Freegle today.
Decluttered today - cigarette case, bag of jewellery - earrings, necklaces, bracelets, tie pins, cuff links and watches, luggage tags, bank card holder, memory sticks, DVDs, paperwork, shoe extension pieces, coat hanger, typewriter ribbon, reinforcement rings, cloth bag, 21 carrier bags, briefcase, tray, duster x 2, cardboard box, 3 books, booklets, pack of cards, snap cards x 2, snakes & ladder game, pass the pig game, glass x 4, dominoes, pamphlet, dust bunnies and cash to the builder..

There was a bright yellow thing in the sky today ☀️ so I took the opportunity to put away my wetsuit and got out in the garden and decluttered some weeds. 😁😁 I'd taken a quick trip to W1ckes yesterday to check out the colour of some shelving, (colour was good but sizing wasn't 😞), and spotted some gravel/lawn edging which I wanted for the garden. Just a little Spring bed around the acer in the front patch of grass that just about passes for a lawn. The edging still has a mind of its own but I'm hoping when we get some decent warmth I will be able to pin it to shape.
I was so chuffed to see some winter aconites flower this year, (the little yellow flowers to the left of the tree). I thought I'd lost the second pot I'd planted to the right of the tree, but as I cleared some of the weed I spotted a flower head emerging. 😁 I'm now waiting to see if the Tenby daffodil has survived. It's a bit bare this year but I'm hoping the crocuses, iris reticulata, aconites and (whispering quietly), English bluebells will spread and give a better display next year.
I've also planted some native wild flowers to fill in under the acer in summer - purple toadflax, ox-eye daisy and fleabane. I'm hoping to get some kidney vetch for the blue butterflies in the next week or so.
Rain again tomorrow so I'm pleased I managed to do what I did. The main border will have to wait a bit longer. That's not too much of a problem as I think there's a lot of Spanish bluebell coming up there. I need to let it flower so I can identify it and pull up as much as I can yet again - I have alliums there too so until things start to flower, I'm not sure which is what. 🤣
I also graveled an area between myself and my neighbours that had been left as a trench by my builders. Net result was that by lunch time I stopped being able to move. 😱 Anti-inflammatories have been taken and hopefully all will be good tomorrow. 🤞
Slowly but surely a garden is emerging. I do have to keep reminding myself that, a little over a year ago, this was a bare patch of earth that had had a good going over by a mini digger. The next job is to reshape the flowerbed in the background. It's basically the only flowerbed I have so it gradually gets bigger as I buy new plants. 🤣
A further result of my trip down to W's is that money has been decluttered as I've put in an order for some DIY stuff, more garden edging and some bags of manure for the veg raised beds. Mr L is getting in potting compost this week so I'll be decluttering yet more money there. 🤣
In fact decluttering money has been my forte this month. It's the 2nd anniversary of me being in the house so all those annual bills are arriving and my senior cat had to go back for her thyroid check-up. The good news is that she's stable and I've bought her medication for the next 6 months. 😁 Dxx

Thank you for my gold star Mrs SD. Lovely knitting, I am thinking of painting the small bedroom that shade of green.
Not a lot happened from my overnight visitor ready list. Lots of rawl plugs around the house taken out with a corkscrew and holes filled. One and a bit jumpers sewn up at craft club. Too much talking happens to get anything done. Tonight I thought I will just pull the at least 4 layers of different blue shades wallpaper off the wall where the old radiator was. Welded onto the wall! it took 2 hours. Painted the gap over with some white emulsion. It's a dogs breakfast but looks better than before. It will be a long time before the sitting room is decorated.
New bedroom carpet at 9am tomorrow. The plan afterwards is to put the furniture back in and then remove the furniture from our room. Lovely cleaning lady is going to make a start with the decorating in there. I have decided to paint the walls a cream colour, the built in wardrobes are a light grey. I painted the drawers and bedside drawers a Cotswold green last year but am going to re paint light grey, LCL and I are giving ourselves a deadline of 10 days. It sounds a lot but we will be doing only a couple of hours at a time. There is a lot of prep to do as TBH the previous decorating is rough. Currently the room is colour drenched in grey. Walls, ceiling and built in wardrobes. I cannot wait to have a white ceiling. I am keeping the curtains which I made for the sitting room 2 houses ago. I still like them luckily. Visitors come in 13 days.
I plan to go to Sheffield later to buy a blind for the front bedroom and paint for our room.
I had a brain wave earlier. Instead of buying new door knobs for all the doors upstairs , I will just paint them all black. They are currently a very fake light oak colour.
I am sorry you feel ill after your sound bath Wednesday 2000. I find the acoustics difficult in the swimming baths difficult at the best of times.Hope you are on the mend.
de cluttered a big bag of blister packs today at craft club.

Furniture coming back from upholsterer today so £££ being decluttered.

Hi all I have missing since last Friday as I haven't been very well and spent Saturday in bed after we did the food shop and I needed to post some parcels and OH wouldn't know how to do it and Sunday was sofa day so not much got done.
Monday I did feel better but I still didn't do much, I did start my final college project and sorted out some more materials that I will need.
Yesterday my OH was off so we sorted out our wills, and we did sort some of DS's big toys out to sell, and sorted some general stuff out.
One of the items I put for sell has gone today so that is some more room, I am on a app called Olio someone was looking for some coat hangers so I need to sort some out and someone also looking for some tea lights which we have loads of so I message them just waiting to hear back.
DS is off school poorly today but hopefully can get a few things done
Take care everyone

The cleaners are here deep cleaning again. I prefer the way my house looks as I have cleared the surfaces for them so I think I will do some decluttering after they leave and only keep things I really love.
It is such a lovely day today. I just had an Indian Head Massage and walked back through the park.
