I have decluttered an Easter egg. Ate it as I am trying unsuccessfully to declutter a cold!

Well the workmen are still here and the whole of downstairs is either like a building site or you can't move for lounge furniture squashed into the other rooms. Anyhow, the end is in sight (apparently). To make matters slightly worse I have had a heavy cold/sore throat/chesty cough/temperature so haven't even been out much the last two days. Feeling on the mend today though and suddenly decided to sort my wardrobe out. It is actually finally tidy, and I have thrown a serious amount of clothes away. I only dithered on about 4 things so I am going to revisit them in about a month and if I still haven't worn them they're going. Two bin bags to the CS plus another bag of assorted rubbish/old toiletries, odd socks etc etc for the bin. Still a bit of tidying up to do in the room but a big step forward (for me).

Decluttered a wheelchair to a friend. We had two and only one elderly aunt left so when a friend asked where she could get a wheelchair for her mother in law we said we had a spare. I got my husband to give it a spruce and adjust the brakes and she collected it this afternoon. Yey.

So i need opinions.. this might divide some people 😂😂 we have black bags collected every 21 days here which is beyond a joke especially around Christmas time, but anyway my neighbour never has any rubbish which is weird? Do you think its cheeky/rude that we include our rubbish if our bin is full on the day of collection? So tomorrow is collection day our bins are full and his is empty, collection is around 7am and I occasionally put my extra bag in there before I leave at 6am.. Just want your opinions 😂😂

good manners would say you should ask unless it's a once in a blue moon situation. I have on occasion added a bit to a neighbour's bin but mostly have been on the offering side as we have 2 bins and rarely enough to fill 1.

I would ask. One of my neighbours was too lazy to open his gate to get to his bin so used mine and left luminous green paint finger prints on it. Not one of his brightest moments…..

I moved more stash into the garage today.
Lovely weather for drying washing outside.
I took photos of a tallboy and put it on Freegle.
I went to open a bottle of Shloe. and couldn't do it. Workmen are parking outside my house so I went and tapped on a car window and asked the chap if he would open the bottle for me.
R turned up and loaded all my rubbish into his car for the tip.
Friend from my Corp asked the officer for a dinner for me today and brought it round.
I got a bus to the SA quarters - had a meeting with the 2 leaders of my corps. I had a lift home.
Decided to have a sweep out the front - quite a lot of wood shavings there.
No spending day now at 31/55.

Great work in the garden @dND
Healing prayers / wishes for everyone who needs them.
Who'd have thought of corkscrews for removing rawl plugs!
My Mum gets very miffed when her neighbours put stuff into her bins when theirs are overflowing and hers aren't, without asking first. Particularly her green bin, which she pays for and they choose not to!

My black bin is full - being emptied on Friday. Next door neighbour only has a small bin but lets me use it - I have put 2 black sacks full in there this week - pushed them down well.
I was holding back sobs at the meeting this afternoon - I hadn't wanted to meet up as I don't want to talk - I am better doing.
Going to sort out a box of stuff from Mil's flat now.
