Chilly here today.
I popped to SA - to make sure the planning for Friday is in place.
I emptied out the bottom of the glass cabinet in the hall - lots of antique/vintage items which can go to auction for the SA. There is one item that I need to get valued - it seems to be a Josef Lorenzl bronze - signed - art deco period of a girl in pyjamas on an onyx stand.
I emptied and cleaned the top drawer in the kitchen then went out while it dried. I wanted some fruit and also got a drain cover for the side alley. I need new bras - didn't want to try them on in M & S so I bought 5 to try at home. That is a job for tomorrow morning.
A freegler collected an item and let a lovely bunch of flowers in the porch. I have taken photos and freegled another item.
Granddaughter called by - she wants numbers on a tee shirt - will have to print them again as too thin to cut out in fabric. They are going on a white tee shirt for numbers day at school.
Been waiting for a delivery.which has just arrived.

Goodness me we had some rain yesterday. Our side wasn’t so bad but @London_1 side was dreadful. Was looking at FB and it was so nice to see people with 4x4s offering to collect and deliver sandbags. We do have a wonderful community on the island.
A wee while ago, DH had a nasty fall. What made it worse was that he landed on one of his most costly guitars. To say the air was blue is an understatement. Anyway, long story short, I decided to put this poor damaged thing on eBay (the guitar, not DH). DH was a bit scathing suggesting no one would want it. Put on eBay and 2 hours later it sold! All packed up and in the hands of DFriend who is dropping off for me.
All laundry washed and dried. Got 2 things left to iron and then will put everything away.
Decluttered some OOD meds that DFriend is taking to pharmacy for disposal. Decanted all other meds to their appropriate homes so also got rid of a box of packaging.
Have a little stack of things to post on Vinted and eBay, will try to get to that tomorrow. Also need to go through my chest of drawers again.
Have a good night all, sleep tight xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

They look lovely @BlueJ94 are they like a crustless quiche style? OH is broccolli resistant, so I'd love some other ideas to sneak broccoli in, could you share your recipe?

Morning all. I am pleased to say I got up and went straight to computer to tackle some frogs - committees, AGM, documents, builder, electrican etc - will give myself 5 points. A few more to do but will shower and get dressed first. I need some stamps but think I will leave it until tomorrow when I have to go out for a meeting. I think I will set myself a new target starting February for NSD (no spending days) as doing my January accounts I seem to have been out doing lots of small transactions nearly every day. This all adds up and I need a more sensible approach to shopping. I have been doing more surveys to add to my bathroom renovation pot - another £32 earned this week. I have another one year savings account which matures next month - not huge amount but I have to close it at a year so I will add that to bathroom account and start a new saver. My two 'free' council tax months can go towards my holiday in April.
I might tackle some more frogs but then if it stays dry I will go out and do some pruning and tidying to fill bin before collection day Friday.

Gosh Granny Kate, I would love some NSD. Mr V just loves going shopping everyday, and buying bits of wire online all the time. I cannot believe after all these years he still needs a left to right thingy or some such.I would prefer to go shopping once a week and if we run out of something we make do with something else. He is definitely his Mothers son and I am definitely my Mothers daughter.
Blue J, they look scrummy.
Willowtree, a grand day for you yesterday all round.
Mrs SD, knit and napper group.🤣
Drumroll please. After at least 3 years of pushing, Mr V has eaten a gigantic frog. He has an appointment with a financial adviser next week. A first step but this is monumental. Mr V would prefer me to sort everything but this one he has to do. It is a relief it is at least started. When this is sorted we can finally make a will.
Mr V has brought loadsa stuff home from work (duvet, blanket etc). It all needs washing and storing. Luckily the dressing table in the spare room is empty. That is my mission today before craft club.
I am enjoying thinking about decorating. The first room will be the big spare room. I am going for colour on the walls, a departure from my usual neutral tones. I am thinking a dirty mauve/grey to match a colour in the curtains.
