Flying in for a quick update - well done everyone for the amazing job done in the first month of the year, and thanks for your encouragement. I've managed 4 * 26 minutes since I last posted
#24 (following prompt from Diane from Denmark) I cleaned the kitchen bins - best find: clean bins!!!
#25 cleaned downstairs for bookclub - best find 'candle in a tin' - i lit in, lovely smell (birthday is August and can't remember which birthday I got it on!)
#26 this morning reset downstairs using Diane's 'PUPA' - best find - how easy and satisfying to do if done soon
#27 office - 2 bags tipped out onto my bed, boxes for put away, give away, throw away. best fine - mum's birthday present for my sister (8 days after oops). Haven't done the p / g / t away as will do another 26 mins tonight and clear bed. Loving my timer!
Won't quite catch up with myself before I go to India next week but we are never behind, I'll just jump back in on my return.

Oh Mrs SD! I definitely don’t want him tunnelling under the fence!!
The ‘lilac that moved in’ used to double as the dog’s sn!per nest. No mean feat as he was Alsatian in size. He used to lurk in there in the undergrowth. You knew he was in the garden but you couldn’t find him in any of his usual spots and he’d ignore you if you called him in. Then he’d suddenly appear bold as brass and like nothing had happened. When I finally located this nest he was laughing his socks off. He had a very good sense of humour.

I've had a up and down week got paid on Tuesday which was 6 days late, I was told that they think payroll missed me, then last night I had a payment on my account that I didn't recognise so phone my back up they cancelled my card and give me the money back and they are investigating it.
So this week I sold something on vinted so I've posted that, sorted out the towels and a couple have been bin alone with some bathroom floor mats that we don't use.
Sorted my bag and purse out and took all the loose change out on put in in a jar and then in November I will court it up and put it towards some for Christmas, put all the receipts into the recycling.
Going to list some more things on vinted and ebay over the next few days and I am keeping updated with deleting the emails, I also have started a new charity bag with a few things in there.
Hope everyone has a good weekend

Meanwhile - books are half way tidied. Need to ask OH if he wants to keep some of them that came from the charity book shelf at Tasco, otherwise they'll go right back there.

Saturday continued: I went through DSis’s two containers of baking utensils & decorations. Nothing other than packaging binned (208) but each box now has like with like rather than mixed content. Then tackled my shelf of glass jars - 10 washed, dried & put in recycling bin + plastic bottle & another cardboard box (209 - 220) I also found 9 packets of ‘Kilner jar labels (6 per packet) & string’ see pic
If anyone would like some of these, please PM me & I will be more than happy to post. DH decided to take the motorbike for a spin as it hasn’t really moved since the service & MOT when the new alternator was put in. He got as far as As*a & had to come back as the new alternator was smoking & there was the smell of burning 😞 He will be phoning the garage on Monday ☹️Excellent work DundeeDoll 👏 You are making the 26 minute sessions work very well ☺️ Oops to finding a misplaced birthday present 😬 at least it is only 8 days late rather than 8 weeks 🙊😉 Hope you have a lovely time in India ☺️
florianatwobob, he was always one of my favourite actors 😊 Love the tale of your dog’s “sn!per nest” 😅

I cleaned and sorted the cleaning supplies cupboard in the garage - _ i won't need to buy any for quite a while. This is just the over spill supplies - more in the kitchen.
I had a go at cleaning the sink in the garage but I think it is a lost cause and I will have to have a new one.
Next I cleaned and sorted the cook book/icing utensils/kitchen foil etc cupboard in the kitchen I have 3 rolls of cling film on the go.I won't buy any parchment paper/foil etc until the supplies are seriously diminished.
Popped to nearby As.. to get a local paper - none so I walked to town - good job I had my bus pass in my pocket to ride home. Newsagent in town only had 2 copies of the paper.
I popped to my friends house in town to get the badges I need for my uniform.
I met my daughters Fil - he is coming to the COL on Friday.
My friend has told me to read aloud my part of the event - I am not at all sure that I will be able to manage on the day.

thanks Brie. I set the robot vacuum cleaner going today. He found it and wrapped it round his side brush. I unwound it and sewed up the edge of the carpet. Our cat is very high maintenance. The rug is only a few weeks old. I have put a cushion on it to try to distract her for a bit.

I decluttered a large piece of furniture today, collected by a freecycler. It needs a bit of tlc but he was thrilled with it 😊
I had already emptied the item and got rid of lots of paperwork plus rubbish like pens that no longer work, dried up glue sticks etc. Today I shredded the paperwork with personal information on. It is currently in a black bag waiting for DD2 to collect it. Apparently her pet ferrets love it for bedding - and nobody, but nobody is going to want to steal my personal information after it has been used for ferret bedding. If the smell doesn't get you, the teeth will 🤣
Also decluttered some of the compost bin contents onto the garden beds before it rained this afternoon, and finished up lots of leftovers for lunch and dinner.
