Thank you for this.... it's opened a window in my mind, which was much needed. (((hugs))) XXXf0xh0les said:NSD12 in F0xh0les Towers.
Stuck a colour rinse through my hair to cover the whites, not sure it has done much, I used to Henna twice a year but have forgotten for a couple of years! Grey wet day here, it might be more noticeable under the harsh studio lighting next week.
Made a fab BNS soup which did my supper and will do 2 more meals.
Drank about 4 litres of water today, not eaten badly either. Heading in the right direction. Stewed some apples and sad nasty sour plums into a lovely compote. Then found 'someone' had eaten all the yoghurt ..... 👀 👀 👀
Masses of laundry processed!! .
Hugs to all who need one.
Mental health wobbles are not a sign of weakness, they are a sign of trying to be strong for too long. Stress messes with your hormones, hormones mess with the internal balances of your body. For some people the lower light levels at this time of year don't help either. Nobody is judging you, except you.
Have some more hugs 🫂I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

beanie, do you have anyone to look after you? Is your mum staying with you and you're looking after her? Hugs.Shrewbie, fabulous to hear from you!!!! You've done so well on the deposit saving. Where do you want to buy? How's life treating you?? So many questions!!!!Grandmanerd, awesome news that the bed is now sleepable in. Thank goodness for Mrs Builder and for all your plots and plans.ThriftyT, it would be surprising if you didn't need counselling. Hope it helps.Pip had a lovely birthday party yesterday. He'd opted to take a few friends to do archery at the nearby scout place and then come back here for food and cake. They all had a fab time and I'd ensured they could all eat all the food - allergies, vegetarians, etc. They were united on their disgust at the nosecco 🤣🤣🤣NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

I think any alcoholic drink would have been enough for a couple of them to chug it down! But with at least 2 of them on meds that do not recommend washing down with alcohol (including Pip) then it was simply a no-go!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3 -
Thanks for your wise words @f0xh0les & @apple_muncher. Glad pip & co had a great time 😀
Sendings hugs & healing thoughts to you both @beanielou.

Got up at usual time, despite DS3 stàrting later due to being at college for the next 2 weeks. Managed to do yoga, Norwegian & make my dinners for the next 3 days! Was ready for a sleep before I even went to work 🤣 Work went well, including the trip to see round the ro-ro ferry. Went for a walk with work bestie before heading home.
Watched the next episode with DH & DS3, whilst munching on our 20p chocolate Santa's from L1dl. Knitted at the same time, then replaced a coat zip afterwards. Going to try & finish my book befy bed.
Grateful for a surprise gift of a pretty skirt & body butter, tv time with family & today going wellUse it up, wear it out

Good morning. Got another couple of NSDs and think I'm on 8 now.
Phoned the bank to change my loan payment date from the 24th to the 1st so it goes out at the start of the month. That took ages to get through the different options and agents to get to the right one. At least they were all super friendly.
Started to vintagify my house a bit more. Hung the old botanical print over my little desk and found my grandad's old typewriter from the 1930s. The kids were mystified by how it works, lol. Also made a macrame plant pot holder but will gift it to a friend.
Cycled to work for the first time in ages and it felt good and sore at the same time. Dinner will be ham/potato bake. Will go though the freezer tonight to plan the rest of the week.
Gratitude
DS finally getting his second operation (after waiting a year!)

Hope ds recovers quickly, thriftylass.Today I am grateful for finishing a 1000 piece jigsaw (at times, I doubted that all the pieces were there!), for leek and potato soup beefed up with ham at dh's insistence, for birdsong, for a call from my sister, for Pip having a good zoom call for something he needs.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Evening lovelies. Yesterday was nsd#12 but today I ended up getting a small treat as I noticed hot cross buns on sale in my local shop so thought I’d enjoy my first hot cross bun of the year and it was delicious. Sticking to nsd #12 but worth it. I’ll try again for a nsd tomorrow.
