    Morning all,
Im grateful it’s the weekend after a rubbish week, for veg boxes and for being off work on Wednesday so I could save a wren that was stuck in some plastic mesh in the garden. The mesh has been removed.

Plan for today is to get the last bits in the house unpacked and decisions made about some stuff that won’t fit. I need to starting clearing the garage of the things we can’t fit in the house as it’s damp out there. My wool is out there somewhere 😱

I’ll make some granola too as money is nonexistent and I’ve got yoghurt to use up. At least breakfasts will be sorted.

I'm happy. Mrs Builder came today and though I've made little progress at sorting stuff, I decided that i would get the kallax unit under the sofa bed to support the slats. I told her that if we didn't get it all done, I would finish of with DS3 (he knew about it, he had been warned). Beloved went off to stay with her friends for the weekend and left DS3 behind as he was not well (maybe lurgy).

We moved things around, I told her where things were going (eg wanted the 'coffee' table moved across to the other side of the chimney breast. We emptied the cube shelves and the layers on top (books in crates and boxes), stuff that had been put on the bed (for sorting) and went through the things on the couch to get the cushion back in place. I also moved the bedding onto the couch so that it was accessible when there was a bed to make.

I started trying to move the kallax unit out but Mrs Builder suggested she should do it. We turned it onto it's side and then onto it's back. Mrs Builder lifted the bed a few inches and I pushed the unit with my foot and it slid easily into place. I had thought we might need a couple of layers of cardboard but the kallax is the perfect size for the job. It's shorter than the sofa bed so the box with the festive decorations in, went under at the foot of the bed.

Mrs Builder made up the bed. I have a wedge pillow (upright) to support my back and a wedge pillow (laid flat) to prop up my ankles and help my blood circulate back to my heart. Lots of linen sheets and pillowcases and a throw. My duvet went outside for a good airing (I whipped it back in when rain threatened). It's very comfy, absolutely supportive (do love a firm mattress) and a great height for getting up off the bed.

When Mrs Builder had gone I had a shower, washed my hair, cleaned the CPAP mask and hose and ate 2 cut up apples and a piece of cheese. I'm hoping for a much improved sleep pattern (may need to work on it). I only had 4 hours sleep last night including one hour when I was taking my pills (and topping up for the week) when I dozed off between pills.

Grateful for Mrs Builder, a lovely place to sleep and DS3 being co-operative and helpful

Well done @Shrewbie fabulous news.  We missed you!
Good job @grandmanerd sounds like real progress made today.
I have done two week's  expenses today,  in less than 90  minutes.  This is a HUGE improvement on the 5+ hours it took me in December to do one week of the stupid things.  I guess it is a case of  'the more you do it the quicker it gets'.  Feeling quite proud of myself.  I have mislaid one receipt though. Grrrr!
I did the food shop earlier on.  Good job I did,  as I am working next week and they will probably still need feeding.... I assume they will anyway.  Hopefully they will not starve while I abandon them in return for money.
I have failed in my plans to stick a colour rinse through my hair, but there is always tomorrow!
I have managed to drink loads of water  today, which is something I do really well while I am working because I take bottles with me, but I am rubbish at doing it when I am at home.
