Sending hugs Valli. So sorry to hear about your beloved bunny. It tugs at the heart each time you lose a furry friend.8

Morning all xx
I need routine 🤪. So, even though it's Sunday ( I think), I'm going to do my Saturdailies. I set up some pre-printed lists to save me writing the same list every Saturday...I know where they are, I think...so I'll grab a list and add any extras to it: pick up prescription, pay TV licence, book a table for Saturday, pay C. Tax, phone / visit Pops, immediately come to mind.
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, changed Joey's seed and water, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, and I'm supping my first brew.
A couple of times recently I've read that Twixmas is a time for reflection so I'm joining HB and planning. In a thoughtful manner. Not gung-ho/ set yourself up for failure planning, but hygge / considered planning. One step at a time ideas. Throw me a notebook please Fayolle. 😉
Second brew and toast and marmalade next methinks - or it'll be triangular chocolate for breakfast 😁

Found my list, and added to it.
I've put out fresh tea towels and fresh towels. I've showered, washed my hair, shaved, moisturised, and got dressed in all clean clothes. Opened windows upstairs to let some fresh air blow through. Brought down the laundry hamper.
Next:
Put out the rubbish
Put out the recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Feed the birds
Ring Pops

Morning everyone,
Sorry to hear about your bunny Valli, it’s such a sad time.
Yesterday was spent mostly with Dad, who I don’t think realised the significance of the day. DD wanted to come with me as she adores her grandad and my elder brother rocked up for a bit too. Dad’s 88 now so we have to treat every day as a blessing. The afternoon was spent chilling and DH and I sat and watched a couple of films together before a buffet style dinner.
Today I woke up with a migraine after being awake several times in the night and eventually got up at 9. Have managed a cuppa and painkillers so far. Still need to get showered and dressed and eat my usual fruit with pancakes and yoghurt.
Plan is to run the hoover through the house and then start on planning 2026 budgets for the household and my personal spends. Keeps me on track since the pain of past debt. People, including the bank tellers, think I’m mad. Every penny has a purpose and is meticulously planned with various different cash and online pots for different categories but it works for me. I would never have known the cash point had given me short if I didn’t do it that way so I was able to ask and get the shortage back.
I will do a ‘roast’ as it’s Sunday but will use leftover meat rather than go and get another joint. I might also prep tomorrow’s casserole as I need to be cooking the meat I bought for it, already a couple of days ood.
Need to do a meal plan to use up fridge contents, mostly salad and veg. If anyone has a recipe for veg soup that doesn’t look like the green slurry my DH usually makes, I would be grateful.
Hope you all have a productive day

You're in a position to tick something off from tomorrow's list! That's got to be worth a WOOT!roundtuit said:
