Morning all.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, cleaned the handbasin and loo, completed Strands with no hints, failed at Wordle- too many choices, completed Connections with three lives lost, changed Joey's seed and water, fed the birds and put out the recycling.
Lunch will now be veggie parcels, roasties, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, carrots, and sprouts. With Christmas cake afterwards.
S said they might call for coffee this morning- They can have Christmas cake too if they do.
Just want to clean out Joey this morning. Anything else is optional.
Have a good day. Its Saturday in case you weren't sure 😉

Morning all, I hope everyone has had a lovely couple of days. I have really enjoyed taking some time off and just spending time with DH and the kids.
My list for today
Quick shower and freshen up
Take DD to her riding lesson
Make a start on organising my new diary for next month
Schedule dds etc, in my diary so I can keep track of finances and, where relevant, schedule when renewals are due so I can compare prices and get the best deal
Get kids to take their presents upstairs to declutter the living room
Have a look at online sales, as there are a couple of things I could do with getting
Fill the DW and switch on (first Christmas having a DW and it has made a massive difference)
Take DD to the stables so she can do some work with and feed her pony
Laundry x 1 load
Take the dog for a long walk
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday (am I the only person getting confused with what day it is at the moment?)9 -
Morning. Wordle in six.
Our plans today have also taken a change as DDs family a little under the weather so we're going to them for a little while so they don't have to travel. DH Is just preparing buffet food to take with us and I've walked Poppet.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
My beautiful, tiny little boy rescue bunny (Netherland dwarf) has crossed the rainbow bridge.
He's lived here for about 6 years, has had garden access daily so he had a good life.

I'm so sorry Valli. You gave him the best life he could possibly have had, but it's so hard when they go. (((Hugs)))Round, we cross posted. If you go back to the bottom of Page 6 I've mentioned a possible collaboration with you, if you're interested. If you're not, that's okay too.Better is good enough.6

So sorry to hear your news @Valli, he will have had the most wonderful life and was all the better for being loved by you. It’s so difficult when our furry friends leave us 😔 Sending gentle hugs..House is pretty much tidy from all the festivities, DS1 has gone for a delayed Boxing Day with his GF and her familam.. DS2 has nipped out for a haircut before his Birthday tomorrow! 🎈
I have two bags of goodies to find homes for, was blessed to have been given some very thoughtful gifts ☺️
Glad to read that everyone has had a good time & @roundtuit I was soooo excited to read you’d enjoyed cooking your first Christmas Dinner.. We can all feel how much of a confidence boost it was for you ☺️"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Valli, I'm sorry to hear about little boy bunny xx
I am looking forward to a properly lazy day today. I've spent the morning putting away the last of the clean crockery and watching YT videos, I've showered, made my bed (Flying!), and now I'm enjoying a coffee while DH is getting ready to go to an all-afternoon war gaming session. Lunch was cold sausages and cole slaw. Rosie and I will take ourselves off for a short walk, and after that I shall curl up on the sofa and watch what I want. Our evening meal just needs plating and warming

(Hugs) Valli. Sorry to hear about your boy, but you gave him a wonderful life.
DD’s friends stayed last night, all bunkered down in her room like when they were all teenagers. All gone now, and bedding sorted.
Drum roll… I have cleaned the en suite AND the basin /toilet upstairs and down. Long overdue, mind, but the job is done. Wm x 1 run and hanging as best I can in the utility room as we have friends coming this evening for a drink or two and I don’t want them thinking that they have walked into the set of Aladdin ( do I have the correct panto?🤔). Odds and ends done to create a semblance of order - presents generally tidied / put away / put to use, WULTD x3, dw emptied. I think I have peaked now, although I have the catering arrangements / update the shopping delivery to sort out later for guests who arrive in the week. My niece bought me a lovely new notebook, I can feel the lists brewing.

Thank you MadamMim 😊 xx
High five HB 🖐. Happy to collaborate and looking forward to getting more clutter out of the house.
Lunch went well. We were both too stuffed with veggies to have any room for Christmas cake. Not a bad thing I suppose.
So sorry for your loss Valli. Xx
