Okay, I ordered a freezer 🙌 It should have been £350, my specifications were for outside use (garage), large, not a chest freezer (hate them) and somewhere I could get discount 😂 I got an AI bot to do the legwork, it was utter rubbish but it did direct me to Arg^s which I often forget about these days. Which is weird because when I was a lot poorer, everything I owned came from there 🙈. So I had a 10% off offer, then 1% TCB, then 4%BL discount gift card (slightly more than TCB and that was limited to £250 spends). And I got 1000 nectar points (a fiver I think?) I had to pay a tenner delivery though and I still have old freezer. But I think, if my calculations are right I should have got almost £50 off that which wasn't bad. I am sure I could have got cheaper but this was a good brand and I couldn't be bothered searching any more 😂.

I have been through several cupboards in my kitchen, I feel like I am on a bit of a roll for sorting things out in there. Things have been shoved in cupboards for a looooong time. So I sorted what I could and made a meal plan around what I had. I was missing lots of basics though so had to add a few expensive basics to the basket (like rice, coffee, cleaning stuff in bulk or just expensive - whyyyy is coffee so expensive?) I spent £118 which wasn't too bad.
I kept the meal plan simple-
Breakfasts, vegan yoghurt with fruit (and seeds mixed into yoghurt usually), toast and juice, overnight oats and fruit.
Lunches are quinoa and salad, scrambled egg/ avocado/ beans/ mushrooms on toast, salad sandwiches (don't like the fake meats and I found a nice salad and some salad cream is just as nice).
Dinners- Chuna, sweetcorn, pasta. Buddha bowl. Curry. Salsa bean burgers & wedges. Roast. Chilli and Rice/ spag bol (made from same base). Wraps with cous cous. Snacks I have vegan 85% choc 🤢, hummus and dips, nuts and a few other things.
I have g00gled what fruit/veg is best to be organic and what doesn't matter so much and gone with that, so the majority is organic but I would say around 20% probably wasn't today which has pushed the price down a little. I have also made the move back to plant based with this shop. No chocolate or any thing else that is veggie. I will continue to eat eggs but no butter, cheese, chocolate. I am spotty, bloated and it is my fault, I know I have an intolerance, and laziness pushed me to veggie instead of staying plant based (not quite vegan yet with the eggs…and eating all this goes against my ethics…but one day at a time…)
I need to finish sorting my cupboard out that I started. It is a super super deep larder one which I can barely reach to the back of, I am wondering if there is a storage solution for this, because it is so deep it gets messy very quickly…I will have a look for something to organise it. Anyone else have these and found a solution?
DP is being a star, he is building me another arbor arch way to go in front of the one he made last year, he is loving it as he has a new nail gun and is happily nailing away at it out there. 😂

I've got a stupid deep corner under counter cupboard. It is now sorted better by using these
for beans, tinned fruit, carnation milk, tomatoes and custard/rice. Not sure how much of a space saver but they mean we use things in date order as we go a while between eating these things then eat a few over a week. Things were always getting stuck at the back and lost. Now I can tell at a glance if we need more of anything (of these 5 at least).
Another alternative if you have the space is a trolley on wheels so things that aren't used every day can easily be shoved to the back and rolled forward or out when you need them.

I have recently bought some of these and yesterday put the one I bought together. We have quite a few cans and I was wondering where I could put them. I am needing to keep track and use the older tins first rather than the ones closest to the front of the pile. I would like a dresser in the kitchen to put them in but not found one the right size as yet.

Brilliant! Thanks, I have ordered something similar ...
But larger… as the cupboard is massive (which I like I just need to organise it). I've also ordered a lazy Susan for an odd shaped cupboard that we fitted around pipes, it's a two tier one. And an organiser for my cleaning stuff under the sink 😊. Didn't realise there were so many good things for organising these days.
Hopefully these things will help my kitchen to flow a bit better as we keep losing things at the back of all the cupboards 😆.

A wedding dress suggestion, do you have a John Lewis near you? They have personal stylists and there is absolutely no obligation to buy but you book in and give them your size and a rough idea of what you might like then turn up and there is a rail of clothes there for you to browse through. I have done it once and did actually buy a couple of items but it was so lovely trying something on and saying oh to big and just having someone go get another size or come back and say I just saw this and think it would really work with xxx I cannot remember what I bought now but it was a lovely way to spend an hour or so.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
They look good. ( I enjoy using mine as you put the can in the top and it rolls round dropping to the bottom 😆 🤣 😂 its like a tiny funfair in my cupboard 😆 🤣 😂 )
But....STEP AWAY FROM THE STORAGE OPTIONS 😆 🤣 😂 its great looking at all the storage stuff online, there amazing things out there once you start looking 😀

Thank you @Watty1 I'll have a look to see where our local one is. We don't have any big department stores I particularly like round here...but maybe in the next town across there might be one.
@daisy_1571 it's too late 🤣
