I'm not allowed *boo hoo* as I have to be on days students are in. Next year however it should be on Saturday (unless our calendar's suddenly changed just to upset that 😭😄🫠) so I will get the day off 😁. I've other friends who always book the day off on their birthday too and think it's a fab idea and I would totally be up for that!

My afternoon was pretty quick.
I had a great chat with one student and felt real satisfaction from the afternoon which was nice. I also spoke to the person he'd been working with and had some fantastic feedback 😃.
I went back to college, managed to get a free parking space right near the college so didn't have far to walk....I had received a message asking if I was returning soon...and oh boy, oh boy, had it kicked off. Well now, are we sat down with a cuppa for one of my ramblings. So I've pieced together from three people what happened but basically newbie abandoned her job she was put on and walked off (we've had this before with me) and she'd gone back to the office and started being very rude to the lovely lady who sits next to me... complaining about her job, lack of training, too many hours, the contract being temporary (um it was on the application we all filled out in bold 😑🤔) and saying she'd already done her hours for the week. She started crying then shouting and basically doing the usual tantrum of throwing herself around in her chair whilst being rude. She was condescending and ignorant in the same ways I complained to my boss about. Hallelujah. There were several witnesses. One made an immediate complaint to the manager. The lovely lady started crying (away from newbie) and I'm unsure what happened next but I think they all disbanded to different places. When I got back I found lovely lady and newbie in the classroom. Newbie disappeared immediately after class and this is when I found out what had happened. So I was filled in. Then we went to the office and she was there head in hands, sighing. I felt stressed just being around her energy 🙈.
Anyway I was left on my own with her for a while and I asked her if she'd had a good day? She said no, and then complained to me about the fact I have a permanent job and she doesn't 🤔 like I can do anything about it. She also moaned about not liking the job. Not wanting to be there. And on and on it went agessss....I may have said, there's no one stopping you leaving 🫠🙂🙃.
She went off to see manager to complain some more.
Lovely lady turned up as she left to do that and she made a quick exit before she got pulled in. Tutor got pulled in. And I made my exit as I'd already done my hours about half hour before that time.
Two others who witnessed her bellowing at lovely lady told me their version, one was super angry at newbie for being so rude! The other was just sat open mouthed in shock.
So yep ...do we think I might be lucky enough that she walks out and leaves as a birthday present to me 🙃🙂🤣🙌🏻.
I feel elated that this behaviour backs up my complaint as I was feeling like no one was really believing me.... 😁 They can't ignore my complaint now about bullying as she literally did the same thing again today.
Right anyway, gym, I'm recovered from the other day so I'll go and do a gentle session and maybe sauna afterwards.

I cannot believe that someone would behave like this in a workplace. I can’t see her being there long!

Do they not put people on probation and actually deal with issues? Drives me mad.
Happy birthday for tomorrow, all the best people have birthdays this week obviously. I think Daisy and Cherryfudge share a birthday as well.

Thanks for all the pre-birthday wishes 🎂🎈 @Bargainhunter30 @jwil
@beanielou I've worked in SO many different places due to never keeping a job very long (thanks to being mum and just taking jobs as opposed to careers) and I've NEVER seen ANYONE behave like this before. I don't want to go diagnosing people but she behaves much like an awful neighbour I had one time who went from being my friend to hating me and trying to get me evicted...and she was bipolar. I wonder if it is that or something similar? I would have much sympathy if she hadn't continually been rude and horrible to me, but she was, so...but yes I can't believe it either and I doubt I'll ever see anything like it again?!
@redofromstart I honestly don't think they believed me because there had been no witnesses every time she did it to me. This time she couldn't hold it in clearly and there were witnesses so I'm hoping this was enough to trigger something official to get her out. In every meeting we've had she's thrown herself around in her chair and she kind of blurts things out really loudly and stressfully 🤔 I think she's not very confident and is struggling but it shouldn't excuse the rudeness.
@daisy_1571 as I explained to my DP what she had done I acted it out and he said it looks like a toddler 🤣 and I also agree with that.
I'm back from the gym, my friend needed a chat as she's really down, her husband is so close to passing now and she's super overwhelmed with it all so I ordered a pizza and fed everyone quickly and went off to ring her. She gave me a laugh by the end of the conversation so I had cheered her up a little after she'd ranted about her husband's family being so awful (I've met them all and can agree with that...she is wife number three or maybe four 🤔 and they hated her from the off and are super rude). She's only just recovering from cancer herself so I need to make time to see her this weekend if she's free as I feel like she needs a hug 🫂 and a friend.
Irony is not lost on me that I went to the gym then ate pizza though, don't worry 🙈🙈🙈🫠.
