DD shared an observation and asked a question earlier - mum is cousin rich? She has this bag (names brand I never heard of- bus? Coach? Train?.some sort of public transport - side note why would you call an expensive brand after public transport). And this ('nother expensive brand can't recall that one at all) coat, and these expensive uggs (heard of that one) and whatever else she named- including brand new car 🤣...I hadn't even noticed never really been a brand girl. Anyway she shared this as I wandered around a charity shop picking up clothes off the £1 rail going ooo bargain 🤣 and asked if she was much richer than us. I explained cousin has a tonne of disposable income spare every month because she doesn't have a mortgage as currently lives with family members. And if I could find a family member who liked me, and I them, I think I'd do the same so I had a grand spare each month too 🤔😉. Currently racking brain to remember lost old aunt or uncle that might still talk to me and let me move in 😉. I told her looks can be deceiving and not to take too much notice to what people are wearing, with time most of that depreciates to not much.
Anyway. I'm utterly drained, exhausted and have a migraine lingering so will go read for a little while,. meditate and sleep. I've been super good and meditated twice a day all week and got up at 6;30 instead of 7 so my morning isn't rushed. Also been making my lunch then night before. Still have a twitch in my eye from stress but hopefully that will ease off if I can keep some self care up.
Not a NSD as spent £5 in the CS. 🤣 Two pairs of lovely courdoroy (how do you spell this??) trousers and a couple of tops and a hanging sign for a friend!
However got refund of £51 from gOustO and have ordered a week shop from Mr S to be delivered on Saturday.
Must book my holiday leave tomorrow for my trip to Paris. I'm looking forward to that ☺️.
Oh and I had some good news- what I actually came on for and then totally forgot and started typing the above 🤦🏻♀️ even though I'd been docked £400 out of my wage, I went and checked my wage slip this evening as I knew it would be ready and I'm being paid more than usual 🤔 even though I have only done two days in the new job by the cut off point. I shan't query it. But it means Feb might not need to be quite as frugal as January which I was preparing myself for! 😁.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

I love that your dd is asking these questions. Shows she's not just blindly thinking I must have that too. Bodes well fir her future I think 👍
If you find your rich auntie/uncle/babysitter's-nephew's-next-door-neighbour and they have any more space, ask if we can move in too please? Be lovely to have all that disposable income and the future can go chase itself kind of attitude !! 😆 🤣
