I'm sorry I've been awol - rl got massively chaotic and I have been away from the boards. It's been a brutal year financially and I haven't really managed to increase my savings as the modest increase that I did make will be needed to replace carpets etc that have been destroyed by the 4 foster cats I took on once they go home! 🤦‍♀️

Basically, I've started saving again since I came back on the boards earlier this month. I have absolutely no chance of hitting my original target so a more realistic one is £2000 for this year and despite a good start, it's going to be challenging!

I can't remember if I need to update here or on a spreadsheet so I'll go back and check then edit once sorted! 😁

Just added my August #2 £893.44 and I have now exceeded my target for the year. Very pleased with this. As normal, I won't add to my target at this stage as my further savings will offset some of the missing challengers who have given up, forgotten or disappeared (temporarily or permanently).
