    As I’ve lost my wife my ability to save each month has now been severely diminished as, obviously, I’ve lost her salary too! I shall endeavour to keep saving when funds allow though.

    I will be hopefully adding to savings later on this month. I am struggling a little with budgeting as with various pensions they are all paid out at different times. I also have a massive credit card bill to pay this week for new blinds and the cost of our majorca villa in October. So savings remain at £9000 for now.
