Declaring £1,840 for this month!!! Would have been more but had a few bits to pay out for.
Overtime is still going strong so I am in a very very fortunate position. I am so beyond happy the amount I am putting away at the moment as it is going towards a house deposit. Just got to get the car through the MOT in at the end of July and hopefully it last until somepoint next year as it is currently 17 years old. Still going strong though but as usual age creeps up on cars when you least expect it.
Still thoroughly pleased to have now saved over £6,600 in 4 months as Jan/Feb I couldn't put anything way. I want to smash the £10k target this year!!

No 11 unfortunately £0 in June.
I have come to the end of my paid sick leave, so may have to dip into savings if I don't make a miraculous recovery soon! I am so thankful for this thread and that I joined a few years ago, so I've actually got savings to use!

Looks like we are all doing well. I am back from my travels now and after solar panel installations I have done my numbers for the month and put £1000 into savings including the monthly interest received. So now a total of £10500 and 87.5%. Spreadsheet updated.

Hello everybody,
Firstly can I give a quick update for May and June please. £1000 for May and £650 for June.
More importantly, can I please advise everyone on a life changing event. At the end of May my wife of 35 years unexpectedly passed away. It was completely unexpected and devastatingly heartbreaking for me. She was only 55 and in good health. I can’t go into further detail as her untimely death is now subject to a coroner’s inquest…which I’ve been advised could take months.Sorry to bring such bad news to this thread but I wanted to explain my absence from the forums and to let everyone know that I have many things to organise (including her cremation next week) and therefore will only frequent the forums spasmodically from now on.
Please keep a place for Angie in your prayers

Topscooby (Andy) I am so sorry to hear your news and absolutely, RL completely takes over. How utterly devastating for you. I am not one for empty sentiments. I truly feel for you. We were so close to that so it really resonates.😥
I am truly blessed that our local A&E and ambulance service were so on it with Mr Sl last year, when he had acute pancreatitis and then Sepsis, and despite a completely awful week three months later, when they removed his gall-bladder and failed to treat the resultant post-operative ileus until peritonitis was imminent; I still have him. He is not 100% of what he was but he is here.
