Thanks to some very impressive January totals we are actually just a little bit ahead of our monthly average (£1.32 as I type), despite just under a third of us not yet having reported for January (13/40). Well done everyone! Keep up the good work!

Great start to 2026 everyone.
Our pensions have paid out now for February but in view of the fact I have two trips to London this month, a dentist bill for Mr ES and flights on the credit card for our family holiday in Spain later this year I am not committing too much to savings at the beginning of the month. We also have car insurance for my car, MOT for Mr ES car and hotels for China in March to pay for so an expensive month. Luckily my state pension starts this month too having eventually reached state retirement age and no council tax so swings and roundabouts.
So I have paid £450 into regular savings for now and £50 into my personal savings so £500 so far for February. Hopefully I can move more over at the end of the month.
Spreadsheet updated.

No28. Have reported Jan savings (on 1st Feb) but they are not showing on spreadsheet while everyone else who reported after me have theirs showing!!!!!!!! As a first time participant a question - have I been overlooked or do I enter my savings on the spreadsheet myself? Tried to enter details myself but it is read only. Thanks

@Malchester I'm sorry if between us, (it looks like me) we missed your update. It sometimes falls between the cracks as there are two of us updating. In this instance I picked up an update on my phone and it marked all the preceding posts as read, when they were not. A little nudge and we will always pick it up. I have added it now. As you say, it's your first time. I assure you the omission was not personal.
I will reply to your PM in similar vein

I beleive council tax is due this month, it's March & April you don't pay, assuming paid over 10 months. Hope you not left your self short.

April is the start of the new tax year so I believe Feb and March would be the ‘free’ months for those paying over 10 months.
