Mine also not yet showing in, presuming this is going to drag out til after boxing day, this is going to amass to quite a lot of days worth of lost interest! How on earth can an internal move take more than even a single day(!)Growingold said:
My transfer from their Cash ISA to their FR ISA initiated on Friday today showing as deducted from my Cash ISA balance but not yet in my FR ISA balance. Thought it only took 2 working days for internal transfers to go through.Midnight_Tboy said:
ok maybe so, today (tuesday), my cash ISA has changed to £1.00, but my fixed rate ISA still showing as £0 (not sure why it still has a quid in there). It shows interest due still as 200ish, so no clue where that interest is going to land in once it pays outMidnight_Tboy said:
do you actually lose 2 days worth of interest?allegro120 said:
Yes, the only one at 4.30% that allows transfers in atm. Transfers result in 2 days loss of interest, but the rate is worth it.topyam said:Tembo has just dropped
is the fixed rate for a year the best atm
My Tembo transferring internally from their regular easy access one to the fixed is still currently showing as being in the isa, so I assume its still generating interest unless it shows as missing from both of them for a period
Will keep eye on how long my account is wiped out for

I am wondering if they have backlogs of request, this what happened in April where they had to temporary disable ISA transfer request in and enable it later on. They did not have the fix rate available and when they announced it, could not do internal transfer to it so I ended transferring out of Tembo.
Interesting, there is update on this page:
Transfer an existing ISA to Tembo's Fixed Rate Cash ISA | Tembo Money Limited Help CenterThe processing time for internal transfers take 3 business days to complete.Update: 24th December 2025
We have temporarily paused all new applications and deposits into our Fixed Rate ISA while we review our rates. This means the below info will not be usable until we have unpaused this.
- New Funding: We are currently unable to accept new funds, transfers or open new accounts
- Existing Transfers: If you have a transfer or contribution already in progress, it will continue as planned at the 4.3% rate.
- Resuming: We aim to reopen for new deposits in early January.
Accrued Interest: You will be required to leave at least £1 in your Cash ISA and any interest accrued in your Cash ISA will not automatically be transferred over to the Fixed Rate Cash ISA0 -

I found it interesting that the Tembo fixed rate ISA at 4.27% didn't accept transfers in, but the one at 4.30% does (or did, until they pulled it).
I wonder whether Tembo may be upping their game and looking to become a serious player in the market. I know they had a market-leading EA cash ISA for a time during the summer, but as they have slashed that rate quite ferociously since then and I've heard customer support is poor, it had been my assumption that they were not one to trust.0 -
Still got a transfer from EA to fixed in the pending queue. So long as it was started before they put the pause in place should still be 4.3%.
Given the EA went a big step down the cut before last, I wonder if they will do something similar and take this to under 4%.0 -
I now have £1 in my EA ISA
Balance showing zero on the fixed rate on the home screen. The full balance shows when you click in - says "start date pending"
Hoping that means the transfer will complete soon.

My transfer left Chip on 22-Dec and only completed 30-Dec.
I thought Tembo were supposed to back date the interest?0 -
I believe they do although I was transferring to their Easy Access Cash ISA. I checked the transfer I did in May 2025 with them, money left the old provider on 2nd May and transfer in completed on 15th May. Received the backdated interest for May period on 10th June.Gambler said:My transfer left Chip on 22-Dec and only completed 30-Dec.
I thought Tembo were supposed to back date the interest? When do I start earning interest?
With a Tembo Cash ISA - Easy Access, you start earning interest from the date we receive the funds from your old provider - this is backdated once your transfer is complete.
Any backdated interest will be applied to your account in the next interest payment e.g. if your transfer completed on 2nd September, your interest would be paid on the 8th working day of October.
For Tembo Cash ISA - Fixed Rate, you start earning interest when your funds are allocated.2
