  • Wind down time for me.

FT shift, walked Bailey and Luna 3 x 1hr walks, walked another 6 dogs today so I am ready for bed.

Rewatching Grey's Anatomy, currently on season 13 so many many more to go. Will watch a couple of episodes before bed.

J told me what Nomination charm she wants so I'll order that tonight. Another thing ticked off the Christmas list.

  • Snowflake charm ordered - couldn't get the link to work last night.

Fingers crossed it's here before Christmas.

Another busy day today, my 2 and 5 additional dogs to walk and my FT shift today.

Need to try and get some housework done because this place is a TIP! Honestly I'm so bad for letting it build up until it needs a deep clean. I really need to get into a better routine with it and stop just leaving things at my behind!

My new mantra is - don't put it down put it away.

I live alone with my 2 dogs so car barely blame them for the mess, it's all ME!

  • Back to work. Got a meeting for the next 1hr 20m - nipped to the shops on the way home from my last walk. Needed toilet roll so obviously bought a load of rubbish.

This is the sort of impulse shopping that needs to stop.

Bought toilet roll, crisps, milkshakes, lucozade, latte and sausage rolls for the dogs.

Should have cost me £1.60 ended up costing me £14.40.

    Must do better!

Sounds like you have a good plan for paying off the mortgage and building up funds for retirement.

  • Day off work today so went to meet my friend for a breakfast date. She paid which was a lovely treat! Nipped into a few charity shops and spent £5 on books. 3 for me and 6 for my niece and nephew.

I absolutely LOVE charity shopping and as much as it is one of my major downfalls I also don't feel major guilt because I am helping those charities.

Although I am a bit of a hoarder and could do with getting rid of some stuff, need to really up my game with the decluttering in 2026.
