Free teddies are always a good find, my staffie goes through loads. Don't buy dog toys very often as they never last very long, regardless of how tough they claim to be.

Just a point re teddies. The charity shop I volunteer at has loads donated.
Always worth asking and seeing if they have any that might be suitable for your dogs .
Sometimes we sell them for very little.2 -
That's what happens when you have 2 border collies LOL.
Thank you!Debt Free - 4th June 20251 -
@Doris17 - Yeah even the indestructible ones get torn apart in minutes. I spoil these 2 something rotten. They'll still get spoiled but just with free stuff instead and they don't know the difference.@ellenvan - I buy them lots from the CS. They usually sell them in the local ones for £1.00 so if and when I run out this will be my first option. CS are my first option for most things tbh I absolutely LOVE them.Debt Free - 4th June 20252

Really need to do better with the housework but honestly I am SO bad at keeping up with it.
It's one of my 2026 things to be better at it so I'll get there.Debt Free - 4th June 20252 -
Yes charity shops are brilliant. You just never know what you are going to find in them.

Hello all,Had a busy Sunday as usual and got totally soaked while out walking dogs. Been home a couple of hours and sat down to work out my plans for paying off this mortgage. So initially I aimed to pay it off in the next 5 years. Then I thought instead of paying it off I would add the maximum savings to my LISA to get the £1,000 back a year. Well today I thought I'm going to see what would actually be better by you know looking at the figures. Turns out that if I focus on overpaying the mortgage I would save approximately £2,585.55 in interest. Now that I write this down I'm sure this can't be in a year but must be for the whole term of the mortgage - Why am I so bad at this.Either way I've decided it's best to just throw all the money to the mortgage and get that all paid off by the time I am 48 - woooooooooo! No decluttering from me today. I'm having a lazy one.Although very happy to report that I've managed to eat my way through most of the food in the house so ready to start from scratch tomorrow and be more mindful with what I eat.Debt Free - 4th June 20252
