If something is going to derail a budget or savings plan, it’s always going to be a car 😡

You’ve been sensible with the amount you’ve spent. Hopefully you can take some joy in the new car and pay it back down in good time.

Yeah I'm starting to look forward to new car day.

Waiting on them calling to let me know it's ready.

I picked the old car up so I'll get that emptied out, need to try and find the parcel shelf so means I'll need to dig out the hall cupboard cos that's the only place I think it could be?

Heading down to We Buy Any Car at 10:20am tomorrow so we'll see what they offer me for it.

How annoying but at least you can get a 0% card and actually financially it is not a bad idea to overpay the mortgage to save interest and if you are not paying interest on the debt and it is for an asset like a car it is not the end of the world. Do you not keep an emergency savings account? I always used to set myself an emergency cash limit I would not drop below in case an essential car/house repair was needed. Hope you got a reasonable amount for your old car.

Got pennies for the old car - I'm not even bothered about it now.

I've got about £1,000 to put towards the new car so just waiting to hear from the sales guy, Easter weekend hasn't helped.
