I'm down with the lurgy so not been on here much.

Nothing really to report since my last pay day, will see how the funds go over the next week or two before I make another mortgage overpayment.

Decluttering is still ongoing, haven't done much in January so really need to do better with that.

Was thinking the other day that I defo have lots of stuff at home that I don't need to could sell it off, if I can make enough to cover one of my monthly mortgage overpayments that would be great so the aim is for £416! I'll need to dig it all out and keep a track of what I sell.

    Hope you feel better soon.

I find it really motivating to have a target to aim for, good luck with the selling.

Had an early finish today so as soon as I was done I tidied the bedroom and changed the bedding.

Have had so much washing to do this week as Bailey wasn't very well, he was sick on ME at 4:40am Monday morning so that was a joy to behold. Had to wash the duvet which was a nightmare to get dry as it's been so cold and wet. My dehumidifier is on OT.

Decluttered my old wellies, pair of crocs and my nieces wellies that sat outside my front door for a very long time.

All my recycling done and another load in the machine.

Just on the couch watching crime documentary on YouTube.

Off out for dinner tonight for a dog walking friends birthday. There are 3 of us so always split the bill between 2 and the birthday girl gets a freebie. My turn next month. We're off to Suisse which is a lovely vegan restaurant. Can't wait for some yummy food and good company

    Was absolutely delish!

Had to go to my night time dog walk after it then take my 2 out for a last loo break - I was done in by the time I got to bed and FREEZING!

Today I met my sister and we went to B&M for dog food, ended up in the special buy aisle and they had reduced the majority of their Christmas stock to £0.10p! We had a trolley full by the time we left!

    I bought;

    7 Christmas candles
    Jar of matches
    10 woven star placemats
    2 wood tree ornaments
    2 gonks
    3 boxes of crackers
    2 colouring in books
    2 books
    2 double bedding sets
    6 single bedding sets
    Christmas tree skirt
    Light up train decoration
    30 treat boxes
    4 packets of acorn ornaments

Spent like £7.00 in total. Chuffed to bits. Lots of it was stuff I wanted to pick up over the festive period when it was full price but too expensive!

Gave my friend 2 single bedding sets for her wee girls, so they're already out of the house.

4 of the single bedding sets are for my Mum so she can get them tomorrow.

    The rest I am keeping.

Wow! That is some haul. I absolutely love a bargain and ones like that don’t come along very often.

Jeez I'm so bad at keeping up with this diary! Will try to do better.

I made a huge OP this morning (£3,000) which brings my total for the year to £3,504.

I had savings sitting in the account but it's been niggling at me for weeks on end so I decided today to just OP the mortgage.

    So happy!
